Alone..?

It’s cold in here, she thought. Her mind was a million years away. She was waiting for someone it seemed, but for who? She seemed sad. As she watched the students walk past her in the hallways, she felt them walk through her. Each soul that passed through her created a disturbance in her mind. Her heart was screaming at her to yell, but she knew that if she did, no one would hear her. Because, she was dead. She couldn’t remember how she went, but she wouldn’t leave the school. Haunting the hallways, the students; she waited for someone. But who? Her soul would pull her toward a guy, one with a look of sadness. She couldn’t help but wonder if he knew her in her last life. Whenever she got close enough to him her body would stop, not allowing her to move, but to watch as he walked away. Sometimes she called out to him, but those were the first few weeks prior to her passing. Now she waited and watched. Unsure of why she was still there. If her heart was still there, she might have felt something for him, but to her, he was just a guy that her body acted weirdly toward. She stopped trying to hold onto him, she stopped trying to pretend-hug him. Instead, she withered away, her ghostly form slowly fading, her soul giving up. She didn’t want to try to be positive. There was no point. So, as she faded, she noticed that he would stop and talk to himself; it was as if he was talking to her. He would say a girl’s name, and her face would flush up, yet she didn’t know her real name. She wondered if he had been her boyfriend, for her body reacted weirdly around him, but no one else. But she would never know, as for the next day, she faded away into nothingness.

Not in this case and the story line flowed. Like how the ending was as such that it could be open...
