Prologue
Hi! My name is Jen Fasiel. I know this sounds unbelievable, but the world is on the brink of destruction. All my friends and I are stuck in the zombie apocalypse. First, before we all die, I'll tell you about everyone. As I said before, my name is Jen. I'm 15 and 5'9". Then, there's Ollie Strider. He's two years older than me, but he looks like he's 10. It must be because he's ginger. There's also Adam Greene, the hot-headed one. He's only 16 but acts like a 20-year-old bodybuilder. He thinks he's the best out of all of us. (He's not.) Next is Aradia Schwartz, who's my girlfriend. She's actually 17. Everyone says she looks like she's 21. Then there's probably the most annoying person in the world to be stuck with, my sister Melanie. She's 8 years old and SUPER spoiled. Last but not least there are the other two members of Ollie's family, his twin brother, Austin, and his dad, who we call Jackson. We can barely even tell Austin and Ollie apart. Right now, we're stuck in a bunker that Jackson made himself. It's actually pretty impressive. One last thing. We're also surrounded on all sides by zombies. But I know one thing: We're never gonna surrender. We may be just a bunch of kids with one adult, but we can save this world!
