The beginning.
"We're loving this story with its mute hero, and his mate getting up to everything it is possible. for two lads to do. And some impossible things too. It is written with some clever touches of humour which relieve the relentless, forward moving action of the tale. It's certainly not boring, keeping you in action mode all the way through. Yet there are periods of introspection too, that add to our appreciation of the characters. Well worth the read. If we have any tiny criticism, it's that the plot tend to be confusing from time to time, and we found ourselves having to reread sections to work out what was going on. But otherwise brilliantly written."
