Hidden Gem

"This type of story is what excited horror reader and writers to no end. The authors splendid use of imagery and butchery type of tones were not overly done nor did it make the scenes feel corny. In fact in some cases you could feel the dread and despair as you reached the climax of the story. Normally I see many people utilize the first person point of veiw and fail at describing the going on and being too focused on the mc focus and emotions. I was pleased to see the Author did not restrict themselves and utilized this format splendidly. The build up was excellent along with a believable main character. I think the ending was effective but a tad abrupt for my personal taste, but that is just my opinion it read well. All in all great work, I would recommend this story in a book of short horror stories or book list."
