Hellevator

Summary

Bitch, this is straight from Wattpad but... Stray Kids are from District 9. They step on the Hellevator. Now they are in hell. See where it goes. Bye. I stared at the old rundown mechanism in front of me. I brushed off the dirt from the sign. It read: Hellevator, one-way trip. I sighed, not knowing if this was a good idea, but Jeongin has been missing for days, and he had always told me he'd ride this thing one day, just to get away from the 9. I took in a deep breath,” For Jeongin,” I stepped forward, into the so-called hellevator. I saw one button. It was the number nine, next to it, seemingly written in blood red letters, a dripping font… read Hell. I pressed the button and the doors slammed shut, leaving me in total darkness. The turning of gear echoed in the small confined space. It started slow, then it dropped hard, sending me to the ground. I fell to my knees, the sound of roaring wind pounding in my ears, shadows of red flashed, screams sounded. And then there was nothing. No movement, no sound. Total and utter silence. The door opened… and I saw a city on fire. I heard a voice,” Welcome to Hell, enjoy your eternal stay,” Everything. Went. Black.

District 9

~~~Felix POV~~~
There was a pounding on my bedroom door. I jolted awake and jumped to my feet. No one overslept in District 9… it was one of the rules.
I pulled on my uniform. Everyone wore the same thing here. White T-shirt, gray sweatpants, a black hoodie (optional), and black tennis shoes, which I opted to wear everything I was allowed.
I opened my door to be met with an officer, he crossed his arms,” Lee Felix… you have ten minutes, be at your station or suffer the consequences,” his voice was monotone and it sent chills down my spine.
I bolted past him, unable to afford to be late. That’s just how things were here in District 9. No freedom, democracy discarded like it was the plague.
A fire burned in my veins as I arrived at my station. Same thing every day. Make rations, supply clothes, assemble parts for artillery for the District.
I began to hum, muttering a few words as I worked. Waiting in the machine to finish making the selected item. Then moving onto the next.
I sighed, knowing there was no way out of District 9. I smiled remembering as a kid I would spend long nights up in my room, Chan would sneak in after curfew and we would fantasize of leaving the 9. We had created our own language to communicate these ideas, but that was before they took Chris away from me.
I cringed, remembering when they’d dragged him away from me, off to war, kicking and screaming, holding me back, tears falling down my face, sobs escaping my lips.
I pressed the back of my hand to my lips. My best friend may very well die in that war. I bit my lip in angst, soon hearing a knock on my door. I looked at the time and sighed. I can’t leave my station.
I called out,” Key’s on the doorframe,”
I soon heard footsteps and,” Even after four years you’re still the same Felix,”
My jaw dropped and I froze,” Chris?”
I turned around to see him smiling, looking the same, more mature of course, but his forever familiar features set proudly on his face, a smile dusting his lips,” Hey Feli… I’m home,”
