Ext.plot of land - DAY

Two men are riding a four wheeler Both have shot guns And are dressed in redneck attire. They are chasing a doglike creature.

TERRY

Terry fires his gun at something in the distance.

Whooo wee, did I get it?

The four wheeler pulls up to a wolf like creature. Both men exit the vehicle approaching the creature.

TERRY

What do you think it is?

CAREL

I don’t know it doesn’t look anything like I’ve seen. Maybe it’s just a wolf, but the runt.

Carel crouches by the creature examining it and lifting up a paw.

TERRY

It’s almost human like in its posture and spine. I’d have to say we may have proven werewolves exist.

Carel shoots a questioned look to terry. Terry stares blankly back.

TERRY

Momma always taught me to keep an open mind. So imma keep an open mind about this.

CAREL

There must be something wrong with your momma.

TERRY

My grandmother use to tell stories about things people couldn’t see or comprehend.

CAREL

Terry you know that’s old folk tales.

Terry shakes his head and takes a deep breath.

TERRY

Inside you knew something was special about the world and the universe. You wanted to believe as if instinct.

Carel laughs and stands up moving to wards the four wheeler.

CAREL

Well let’s just leave it here and head back. Nothing much we can do with out a truck.

Terry and carel get back into the four wheeler and drive off. The wolf stirs and gets back up watching them in the distance.

INT. Livingroom - NIGHT

Both Terry and Carel sit in a livingroom decorated in hunting trophies. Both men have a beer in hand and are watching tv. Carel yawns and gets up.

CAREL

I think I’m gonna turn out for the night.

TERRY

Alright, goodnight brother.

Terry gets up and hugs him. Carel turns and leaves. The housed hummed and terry sat alone. The lowest whistle is shot from the front door. Terry jumps and looks towards the door. Three knocks come from the door. He gets up and opens the door. Outside was a woman with dark brown hair and green eyes in elegant clothes.

Woman

Can I come in?

TERRY

Who are you?

WOMAN

Someone looking to have a heart to heart with a dear friends grandson.

TERRY

You mean my grandmother?

WOMAN

Funny that being the first conclusion.

The woman walks past terry picks up a pack of cig greets fro the coffee table lighting one up. Terry closes the door and sits on his couch.

TERRY

So, you gonna tell me who you are or not?

WOMAN

Those fantasy stories your grandmother has told you about, yeah their real.

The woman looks down at her watch.

WOMAN

You have fifteen minutes before your first transformation and I am here to, shall we say guid you through it.

Terry shakes in confusion.

TERRY

What are you talking about?

WOMAN

You come from a great guild of werewolves. Your clan however only has a new wolf pup every seven generations.

TERRY

My family are werewolves? Why did no one ever tell me?

WOMAN

That’s just the way they did it so get over it because we only have--

TERRY

--That’s a lot to tell someone so close to--

Terry collapses to his knees and grunts. The sounds of bones popping can be heard. Terry begins screaming as he starts forming into a wolf. The woman next to him begins turning quicker with no pain. Terry looks up at his new wolf friend. Carel walks out into the livingroom with a worried look. The female wolf immediately bears her teeth at him. He starts screaming and runs back into the room shitting the door behind him.

WOMAN

Damn hunters think their tough until we’re at their door.

TERRY

What now?

WOMAN

Follow and you will learn.

The female wolf bust down the front door and turns back at Terry. He starts to follow and they both exit.
