Summary

Like The Great Unknown real life version but instead it takes place in Minecraft. All the same characters in The Great Unknown Real Life version are in the world of Minecraft. They go out in search for materials as they try to survive in the wilderness of Minecraft. Out of all of them, Charlotte is the shy one, Noah is the main builder, Benjamin is the "peace maker", Emily is the "drama queen", Sophie is the tom-boy who loves to read, and lastly, Parker is the "leader" of the group. The "leader" started out as Noah when it was just him, Charlotte, and Sophie. Then when the others came along, they had a vote on who they think should be "leader" of the group. The majority voted for Parker, mainly because he was the oldest and seemed to be more fit to be leader. .

The Beginning

They had just spawned in this world 2 days ago. Right now Charlotte’s sitting in her favorite chair that Noah built for her and she’s bored. A few minutes pass of her sitting there full of absolute boredom so she decides to go out and find some flowers. After walking for a few minutes she makes it to the woods. She then hears the grass rustle behind her. Gotta hide Gotta hide. She thinks to herself as she sits huddled behind a tree.

“Charlotte!” she hears someone call. She soon realizes it was just Noah. She comes out from behind the tree.

“H-Hey Noah.” she says. He smiles at her as he walks up.

“You weren’t in the house and I got worried.” he shakes his head. “Wherever you go outside, I gotta be there with you. You know you would freak out if you were out here alone and there are mobs about.”

“Y-Yeah that’s t-true.” she says. She starts shaking from thinking about all the evil mobs that roam at night and during the day.

“Hey, it’s ok.” he says, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. He pauses before asking, “What were you even doing out here by yourself?” she hesitates before answering.

“Uh...Looking for flowers.” she replies. He smiles.

“You really like flowers, don’t you?” he says. she nods.

“Yeah...I do.” He takes his arm off her shoulder and picks the red poppy flower that she had seen just a few minutes before. He hands it to her.

“Here’s one.” he says. “It’s as pretty as you.” She looks down at the flower and couldn’t help but smile. He was so nice. “Let’s find some more and we can decorate the outside of the house.” she nods in happiness and they start to search around for more flowers.

After about 15 minutes we find 27 red poppies, 34 dandelions, 24 oxeye daisies, and 19 Peonies. They started heading back to the house when all of a sudden they hear a faint scream.

“W-What was that?” she asks Noah in both fear and confusion.

“What do you mean?”

“T-The scream. Didn’t you hear it?” he shakes his head.

“No.” The faint scream happens again. This time he hears it. “Ok, I heard THAT time.” He turns in the direction the scream came from. “Let’s go investigate.” Charlotte looks at him like he’s crazy.

“W-What?” she says. “Why?”

“Because it could be another person. Now come on.” he says as he starts to walk toward the screams, Charlotte close behind him. “Are y-you sure we should go toward the screaming?” he stops and turns his head in her direction.

“Trust me Charlotte.” he says. “It’ll be fine. Nothing bad will happen.” He turns and looks ahead again, still holding onto her arm. She's still a little scared but has faith in Noah.

“Ok.” she says. “I trust you.”

***

When they find where the screams are coming from, Noah stops.

“What is it, Noah?” asks Charlotte.

“I see a witch under that tree but I don’t see the person that was screaming.” Noah says as he takes out his stone sword. “Stay here.” he runs at the witch. He swings his sword. It throws a weakness potion at him. He hits it 4 more times. It dies, releasing a puff of smoke as it then disappears. He signals to Charlotte that it’s safe and she runs over to his side. He wraps his left arm around her while taking damage.

“You saved me.” they hear someone say.

“Who the heck was that?” asks Noah.

“Up here.” the voice says. “I’m on top of this tree.” They look around. Noah looks over at a tree in front of them. He then looks up and sees a girl, she had bright green eyes, very short dark brown hair, freckles and glasses. She is wearing a white t-shirt with a jean jacket over it, blue jeans, gray sneakers, a green backpack on her back and a book in her hand.

“How did you get up there?” he asks the girl. She points to the tower of oak planks next to her.

“I made a tower to get up here.” she says getting out her iron axe and starts to break the planks.

“Y-You got iron?” Charlotte asks as the girl walks up to them.

“Yeah, I spawned in this world earlier and I started walking around and found some iron. It was above ground, which I thought was a bit weird. So I mined a tree to get some wood, turned them into planks, made a few sticks and made a wooden pickaxe. Then I mined some stone, made a stone pickaxe and mined the iron. There were 6 pieces. I then mine more stone, made a furnace and used some of my wood for fuel to smelt the iron and made a iron axe.”

“Lucky.” Noah says, a little jealous.

“Yeah.” she says. “I know.” They stand there in silence for 5 seconds. Charlotte then decides to break the silence.

“I-I’m Charlotte.” Charlotte says. “And t-this is my boyfriend Noah.” The girl smiles.

“Oh I didn’t know you two were together. Well, my name’s Sophie.” says the girl. “How old are you two?”

“I-I’m 16 and Noah is s-soon to be 17.” Charlotte says.

“Man you two are old.” Sophie laughs. “I’m kidding. Anyway, I’m only 14.” Noah and Charlotte look at her in shock.

“Really? You look like your about 16.” Noah says, his eyes wide.

“I do? Well, I never really noticed but...thanks I guess.” A pause. “So when did you guys get here?”

“T-Two days ago.” Charlotte replies. Sophie thinks for a moment.

“So you two have been here longer than I have. Did you two even build a house yet?” she asks.

“Yes. I built it myself. I love building things.” Noah says smiling, pleased with himself.

“By the way, does she always stutter?” Sophie asks. Charlotte starts to turn red.

“She’s just shy when meeting new people.” he says, holding Charlotte close.

“I see.” Sophie says.

“Should we head b-back to the house now Noah?” Charlotte asks.

“Yeah let’s go. We should get there before mobs start to spawn.”

“Well...um…” Sophie starts, but trails off.

“What is it?” Noah asks.

“I was wondering if maybe possibly I could stay with you guys? It’s lonely and I owe you guys big time.” She says.

“Of course.” Noah says with a grin. Charlotte nods in agreement with him. She smiles too.

“Thank you SO much.” Sophie says.

“No problem. Let’s go, it’s just passed this forest.” Noah starts heading toward the house, Sophie following close behind.

***

“Here we are.” Noah says when they were a few feet away from the house.

“Wow. It looks great from here.” Sophie says.

“Thanks. It took me only 10 minutes to build the whole thing.” Noah says.

“Dang...I couldn’t build a house made of dirt in ten minutes. That’s impressive.” Sophie replies in shock.

“Yeah. I know there is a bit of dirt, I put it there so I will know what I want it to look like. I just need to get more wood so I can replace the dirt with it.” he explains.

“It wasn’t an insult, if that offended you. I just meant I’m not good at building things.”

“I know.” he stops for a second. “I’m gonna go get some more wood.” Noah gives Charlotte the flowers they collected. “Maybe you guys could do some things with these.”

“Ok. We could make a garden in the front yard.” Charlotte says as he runs off to the forest. Charlotte places a Peony on either side of the front doors. “The house is looking prettier already.” Sophie rolls her eyes.

“You and your flowers.” a smile spreads across her face. After a few seconds she asks, “What’s your favorite flower?” Charlotte looks over at her.

“I don’t really have a favorite, but if I had to choose I would pick Allium.” Sophie nods. Charlotte starts to make a pattern with the flowers. Poppy then Dandelion then Oxeye Daisy and then Peony. She repeats this 4 times before Sophie starts talking again.

“I like the blue orchids and the orange tulips.” She inputs. “Hey, would you like some help?”

“Yes, please.” Charlotte replies, handing Sophie the Oxeye Daisies and Peonies.

“So we just continue this pattern that you started doing?” Charlotte nods. “Ok.” They continue placing the flowers in a pattern.

“Poppy then Dandelion…”

“Then Oxeye Daisy and Peony.” Sophie finishes. Charlotte laughs.

“I feel like this is gonna be the start of a new friendship.” Sophie smiles.

“Yeah,” she says. “Me too.”
