Summary

From that moment on, I knew. She was my endgame. It was going to be me and her against the world. I didn't need anyone else. Only her. "What's your name?" I asked, intrigued by the beautiful girl with the camera. "Sabine Valentine," she answered, never looking up. "Sabine Valentine," I repeated, looking at her in surprise. "You're-" She cut me off. "Yes, I'm Mercy's sister." I was momentarily taken aback by her cold tone. "You know, your last name is very misleading. Can I call you Sab?" She finally looked up from the camera in her hands. "No." I chuckled. "Sab it is, then." ~*~ Jacin King. The player. The bad boy. The heartthrob. Jace pretty much waltzes through life without a care in the world. Prologue

It wasn't supposed to happen the way it did. My life wasn't supposed to change so completely. I wasn't supposed to get attached.

I was counting on this school being like the last. I was counting on having an endless pool of girls. I was counting on waltzing through junior year without a care.
What I wasn't counting were the sarcastic, scathing comments. What I wasn't counting on was not giving a shit about all the girls throwing themselves at me. What I wasn't counting on was finding the one thing that matters most to me.

I wasn't planning on falling in love.
