Town of the Damned
The folks were unaware that they’ve built Zalu upon ancient cursed ground. They didn’t know and it’s not their fault. Zalulians live in eternal night and fear. Fear of what? Upon cursed lands, they fear for inhuman creatures and monsters, who are not afraid to snatch up a civilian for a meal. The entire town is a portal to Hell. Thus, every little building inside has its own guardian demon.
Any outsider that accidentally stumbles upon Zalu will never escape. If a civilian tried to get out, they will wake up in the town's cemetery as if it were a nightmare. Far from the distance, Zalu appears to be a cute little village. Dizziness and raspy dark whispers bombarded the head if an adventurer gets too close. They will plummet into oblivion once they hit the town’s border. That’s just the orientation of becoming a Zalulian.
