Chapter 1
I Remember when the Plague started. I was ten years old at the time. my three brothers Eric Daniel and Abraham (Abe) were three years old at the time. Yes they are triplets. Mama and Papa died within a year due to the Plague. Unfortunately all adults died within the year of the Plague starting. Some say it was the Russians in an attempt to take over Canada. However this was debunked when the news showed Plague in Russia as well. My guess is that the Genetic Mutations who attacked a year after the Plague started were the ones who started it. Now its been three years since the Plague wiped out the adult population and two since the GMs declared war. Somehow my brothers and I have survived but soon I fear we must leave and head for the border. The GMs will soon over run TOronto which is the last Canadian stronghold. My Names is Sam by the way. I'm thirteen and am the head of my family. The problem? Eric is a crippled and can't walk far. As for the option of a wheelchair? The world has been bombed relentlessly so there is no point in a wheelchair with all this rumble around. However we must leave or be killed.
