Summary

A wise man once said whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster himself. And it's hard in Tartarus. What if Percy had successfully saved Annabeth from falling? What if he had cut her free from Arachne's spider web, but in the process, fallen? What if Percy had fallen into Tartarus alone? I'll tell you what happens - a whole lot of shit. Percy looses his sanity, Annabeth wants to jump in after him, and the rest of the seven grieve the likelihood of Percy dying... and it's very likely that he will die. After all, when isn't he fighting for his life? Down in Tartarus, it's the Greeks version of hell, and Percy experiences the hardest days of his life (and that's saying something) as he attempts to find his way to the Doors of Death, his only escape option. He'll have to stay alive if he ever wants to see Annabeth again. At least he has Small Bob, though. The best freaking awesome cat ever. **NEXT UPDATE IN JULY** (Due to a crappy thing called bad time management and school).

To start off, I just wanted to say that I do not own 'Percy Jackson,' the 'Heroes of Olympus' series, the characters, or anything that was written or created by Rick Riordan.

I will constantly be editing this book, looking for mistakes to fix - but in the end, it will never be perfect. So, maybe you can help by pointing out any errors you find.
