The Hiddens and Alpha Jake
"I really felt like these two stories didn't need to be separated unless it was done for some unknown reason. It simply felt like a continuation of "The Hiddens." I enjoyed the story line of the first book, but I found Jake to be a little much for me. His character came off as a spoiled brat that seemed to think his sh*t don't stink, and the world should be forced to pause and listen to him whine and moan. Jake is an irritating, festering, pustule on the ass of the world. He's got to go, or is character needs to come into some serious enlightenment in "Alpha Jake." Priscilla is no prize horse herself and she does come off as very haughty sometimes, but at least she has sympathy for others. I really wished that Priscilla could have had more time to get to know her Dad before he was killed. All in all, I thought the stories were well organized and thought-out. I liked that the chapters were not super wordy and drawn out. I think you writing style is great."
