Dear lover,

Close, we once were

With nothing in our way

Now it only feels as if

We grow farther apart each day.

Love, what I still feel

For you it shall never fade

Now it all feels too real

All of the games we once played.

Me, I ruined it all

For you I betrayed

I will still never understand

Why you have always stayed.

You, mean everything to me

But I played with your heart

Now I am the one to blame

For our souls drifting apart.

Us, how I long for it always

For you I would give my life

Now the actions I have forged

Cut deeper than any knife.

Forever, I will hope

For us to be one

Now I will wait

With my faith in the sun.
