Chapter 1
Tereza just published another blog about videogames and it already got thousand likes. But she never brags about that, in fact her friends and family doesn't even know she is that Shadow girl blogger. Nobody except her knows and and she is going to keep it that way for a while.
She takes cup of peppermint tea and sits in her balcony chair enjoying the view of rainy outsite. The balcony can be turned to loggie when pulled glass down. From balcony she can see forest at the end of garden where her mum is growing garlic, onions, tomatoes, strawberries and other tasty things. There are some trees where apples, peaches, plums and cherries are growing and between them there is hammock and shed with swing chair.
Tereza put tea on window sill covered herself in blanket and took book about coding. Rain calmed her down when she had some stress and right now she was stressed about upcoming university. She just graduated high school in June and now it's beginning of August and she is about to start university in computer science. She deasn't feel ready yet and doesn't think she will be ready after a month.
She got call from her friend Polina. Polina and Tereza are friends since she moved to this little town and she helped Tereza to adjust small town charm. Now they both are going to big city to study and Tereza will help Polina to adjust big city busy streets witch scares Polina.
Polina exitex -Hey Tereza, did you red Shadow girls new article about that new game? We should definatley try that game out-
Polina loves videogames but she is not computer geek like Tereza. She is more into drawing or writing.
Tereza -I am reading right now. Yes we should play it sometime-
Polina -I knew you will agree. By the way how's your game making? Is it ready yet?-
Tereza -It still needs some work. So far I have made main characters and they powers. Need to add weakneses to villian and demo version will be ready to release. I think I will go with only thirty levels on demo version. Will se how fans love it and then will release full version-
-Will you sent me game first?- Polina sounds exited -Please. please. Please-
-of course you will be first to get it. After all you are my best friend- Tereza laughs
-Awww thanks. I wanted to ask you, are you going to open air party this weekend?-
Tereza becomes toughtful -I still don't know. I really don't think I should go-
Polina sounds like begging -Please I need you there. And whatever happened with you and Erik should be in past. And also he is in Finland now so won't be at the party-
Terese sighs -Fine I'll think about it but I don't promise-
Polina -At least you will think about it. Anyway I will go help mum with dinner. See you soon-
-Bye, I hope to see you soon-
Teresa put phone on window still and looked out of her window. It was still raining a lot but looks like sun is about to come out.
Tereza -I really hate parties after Erik wanted to rape me last year. I haven't been on any of them after. I know he was drunk but still he wanted to do it. And we weren't even together we were just talking.-
Teresa drank last of her tea and got down to get more and there was her little sister Santa who was making cerial but had spilled milk all over the table.
Tereza -Santa what will mum say when find out you ate cerial before dinner and got kitchen wet?-
Santa trying to clean up -I am cleaning up already. And we don't have to tell mum-
Tereza took another towel and helped cleaning -I'll help you and won't tell mum but you will get book for me next week-
Santa -Not fair I don't even know what book you need-
Tereza finished cleaning -I will write on a note for you-
Santa doesn't sound that she will like it -Fine. But that's the last time-
Tereza -Deal. Now get your cereal and eat before mum arrives-
Santa went to her room and Tereza made new cup of tea. Then she sat in a sofa in living room and turned on TV. There was news about bombings and shootings in other countries, crisis in another country, forest fires and escaped prisioners.
-Will there ever be day when I turn on TV and news will say, today is a great day and nothing bad has happened live happy. I hate to hear only bad stuff-
Tereza chosed movie from archive and turned it on. It was comedy witch was her favourite movie genere. She didn't like romance or horror movies. She doeasn't know why is it that way but she just can't stand romance and is affraid of horror movies. Each time she watches something from horror movie she immagines what would happen if it was in real life or happened to her.
Her peaceful movie watching was intruded by her mum that came in living room.
-Sweetie dinner is ready you should come eat- Mom said
Tereza turned out TV -I'm coming. What did you made?-
They both came into kitchen and it smelled with home baked pizza.
Tereza -Smells ao good. Did you bring kvass too?-
Kvass is Terezas favourite drink and she preferes to drink it with almost everything.
Mom put bottle on table -of course I did. I know you love it-
Teresa hugged mom -I love you so much-
Mom hugged her back and little Santa who came into hug -And I love you both so much-
After dinner Tereza helped mum wuth cleaning up. Rain had stopped and sun srarted to shine so Tereza went out to look for a rainbow. She got into hammoch and found the raindow. It was so beautiful as always.
