Introduction: The Prophecy

Introduction: The Prophecy

Haniel's Point of View

"You broke His rule, Haniel! You were just like the other fallen angel who sinned because of mortals! You're here to do your duty and not to be tempted by His creation!" Uriel roared.

"He sent you here to save the humanity, but you defied his command!" Michael said.

"I love Haakob!"

"You know that it's against our rules to fall in love with mortals, humans. You witnessed what happened to the angels who sinned and you wouldn't be want to be like them, do you?" Raphael opposed.

I shook my head and slowly walked away from them. The wings I've been hiding is now finally evident. I'm in love with Haakob and I can't leave him.

I can't...

I keep smiling while staring at the baby girl on my arms. She got the green eyes from her father while she inherited the same color of my hair which is blonde.

"You are born special because you're a Nephilim, but I will guide you to use your extraordinary abilities for good purposes," I whispered and kissed her forehead.

"Hana will not be a Nephilim," someone interrupted.

A familiar angel appeared and his wings are held high. I held my daughter tightly on my arms.

"How did you know her name?"

"You know what we can do, Haniel," he said in a low tone.

"What are you saying that she will not be a Nephilim? An offspring between mortals and angels will be a Nephilim, Sariel!"

"But not in your case, Haniel," he responded. "Their fate is different from the other offsprings of mortals and fallen angels. You know that He moves in mysterious ways and He has His plans for your children. This is your punishment."

"What do you mean? I thought being expelled from our home is my punishment?" I asked in confusion. "What do you really came her for, Sariel?"

"Do you really think that you can get away with that easily? You sinned. You made a big mistake. You abandoned your mission as an angel to the humanity," Sariel answered.

"So what is the kind of punishment are you talking about?"

"You'll be punished through your kids," he revealed and my daughter started to cry. "You'll be blessed with two kids. Two beautiful daughters and they'll have an extraordinary abilities like a Nephilim, but they will not be granted with wings. They will have a special ability that will bring them to misery before they finally achieve their happiness with their destined partners. They'll keep being miserable."

"No not them, Sariel!" I protested and tears started to drop from eyes. "I can't let my children suffer!"

"We cannot defy His plans, Haniel," Sariel said, emotionless. "Your descendantswill continue to suffer until the chosen one was born and ready."

"Who is the chosen one?"

"She is one of your descendants, Haniel. From your first born, you'll have three grandchildren and the youngest of them is the chosen one," Sariel drew a sign of the cross on my daughter's forehead. "She will have wings and abilities that will make her powerful both on the world of mortals and immortals. She needs to continue and finish your mission on the humanity. She's your savior. Your grandchild will encounter a lot of challenges to prove that she's the chosen one and it will never be easy for her. This secret must be kept between yourself only. No one should know, Haniel," he said before he finally disappeared.
