Life, death, Masstöro, and Phoenix
Long ago there was an island called Masstöro. Some people believe it was apart of Ireland, but it was a place all on it's own. It had beautiful green land, and the water that surrounded it was a clear, crystal blue. It had flowers of every kind. And to those whose ships landed there, if they were kind to the people of Masstöro, they were treated kind and as if they were family. The people told stories of gods and goddesses. One of which, the goddess of fire, destiny, life, nature, and Immortality, went by the name of Phoenix.
Phoenix was a kind goddess, but she did not hesitate to protect her people. She was a ruler. One day, a selfish and foolish hero (sent by Krios god of storms, and creation) who went by the name of Tayon walked to Phoenix's castle. He pretended to be weak and hungry to trick the fire goddess into allowing him into her home. Phoenix saw the poor human and granted him entrance to her home, on one condition.
The condition was that he drop all weapons out the door and told him who he was sent by, as those were her rules.
So the hero dropped all weapons and told her he was sent by Krios. She allowed him to enter. She gave him food, water, and a place to sleep. That night he picked up one of his weapons and killed Phoenix. He left nothing of her but heart, hair, blood, and bones. Phoenix knew this would happen and cast a spell on a gauntlet and a goblet. The goblet would take her remains and make them into a liquid that would spill on her bones and a new entity would spawn out of it. The gauntlet would be that entities weapon. And so it happened, and happened after the new entity spawned.
The people of Masstöro looked forward to who the next Phoenix would be, but they never came. And life, on the beautiful island soon left. And it became a dark and grey place without the goddess. And no new hero by the name of Phoenix came to fix the land for a very long time.
