Summary

A small touch of love and the death shattering thoughts of losing a loved one. They may take you away soon my love To war you go, playing another’s tune Marching to the band of war In lands, far off from our shore. They may take your life, my love Destroying our future-plans of love. Breaking our hopes and dreams But they can never take away my memories Of love, our thoughts plan’s and dreams.

You laid lovingly by my side

As we watched the sun rising high

You held my hand, next to your heart

Our night united, in memories of love

We shared each other as one

Knowing the day would come.

Holding the memories in our hearts

Our time united, our hearts entwined

In love.

They may take you away soon my love

To war you go, playing another’s tune

Marching to the band of war

In lands, far off from our shore.

They may take your life, my love

Destroying our future-plans of love.

Breaking our hopes and dreams

But they can never take away my memories

Of love, our thoughts plan’s and dreams.

Another’s man’s war you fight to save

Heaven knows our hearts and dreams

Today my love my heart is pure

United in our dreams.

I know that we will meet again,

in this life or the next

For now, we share one more day together

One night in each other’s arms and embrace.

They may take you away soon my love

To war you go, playing another’s tune

Marching to the band of war

In lands, far off from our shore.

They may take your life, my love

Destroying our future-plans of love

Breaking our hopes and dreams

But they can never take away my memories

Of love, our thoughts plan’s and dreams.

We prayed our days would last forever

But now that’s not to be

Can we be so wrong, to fight for freedom

Tyranny, as cruelty is all that they see.

Hold strong my love, and remember me

Remember our hearts love, remember me.

They may take you away soon my love

To war you go, playing another’s tune

Marching to the band of war

In lands, far off from our shore.

They may take your life, my love

Destroying our future-plans of love

Breaking our hopes and dreams

But they can never take away my memories

Of love, our thoughts plan’s and dreams.
