Chapter 1

To Pray

A collection of short poems and praise from my heart.

To Pray, oh to pray, our thoughts and words

Lifted on high, over mountains and seas

Over Hills, Valleys and into the Sky

Our Prayers there they will fly.

To Heavenly Father, In Jesus our Saviour and our King.

To Father God we must all pray

Through Jesus Christ his son

There is no other way,

Our Prayer there he hears

No matter where we may be.

To Pray, oh to pray, our thoughts and words

Lifted on high, over mountains and seas

Over Hills, Valleys and into the Sky

Our Prayers there they will fly.

To Heavenly Father, In Jesus our Saviour and our King.

To pray, our fears there He knows

Our hopes, our worries and all our concerns

Our hearts desires, there he will show the way,

Through Jesus our lives restored

Our help he seeks out, in us He asks us to Pray

For those in need, He sees it all,

Our Words lifted on high, in prayer he delights

In us He cares, in Jesus He gave us life.

To Pray, oh to pray, our thoughts and words

Lifted on high, over mountains and seas

Over Hills, Valleys and into the Sky

Our Prayers there they will fly.

To Heavenly Father, In Jesus our Saviour and our King.

Our Prayer in life, our prayers in death

The Lord God hears them all

Families awaiting our sealing bless

Our Prayers in Temples they long

Eternal life together we can share

Our Prayers there he asks, in Jesus to show the way.

Eternal life awaits us all, there sealed in heavens temple

Our prayers there we lift to Heavenly Father

Sealed in heaven and earth

Eternal life He showed us the way.

To Pray, oh to pray, our thoughts and words

Lifted on high, over mountains and seas

Over Hills, Valleys and into the Sky

Our Prayers there they will fly.

To Heavenly Father, In Jesus our Saviour and our King.
