Summary

When God does, a villain takes his place! In the distant future, the wealthy villain Abraham Goldstein funds a top-secret project to travel to heaven and meet God. Upon reaching heaven he finds out that God is dead. He also finds the technology necessary to take gods place and become a god in the eyes of men. Many years later Abraham and his angels, a group of genetically engineered super soldiers, rule Eden; a world created to simulate the Holy Land during the Bronze Age. They rule with terror and fear following the ancient laws. One day, an accident turns Abraham’s closest angel Lucifer against him, an event that plants the seed of Abraham’s destruction. Meanwhile, an ancient force is conspiring in the background to make its return to our world.

Chapter 1 Introduction

Abraham Goldstein was looking out through the windows of the 3000 meters high Goldstein Tower built in the centre of Antarctica. The Goldstein Tower was the second largest structure on Earth built in a pyramid shape to support its tremendous weight and to make the building secure from attacks. From the top of Goldstein Tower Abraham Goldstein could see all his domains, the lush farmlands, the vast, serene parks, and the residential complexes where his loyal followers lived. Abraham sighed, despite owning all of this he was not satisfied, he wanted to own more, and be more powerful.

Being 250 years old, Abraham hoped that his DNA was possible to regenerate once more so that he would feel like a young man again. Abraham knew there were no guarantees, as he was on the fringes of what was achievable with the DNA regeneration technology. Regardless of what he did death was crawling closer.

Abraham exhaled and relaxed. Tomorrow would be a momentous day, and if he had lived for 250 years, he would survive another day.

Abraham was excited for the next morning because of reports that the Divine Detection program was ready. He had ordered his scientists that he wanted to be the first person to use the innovative technology. Hopefully, it would answer all his questions about God and make him meet the divine being.

The Divine Detection program was the latest marvel of quantum physics and a top-secret project of House Goldstein. It scanned through the dimensional layers of reality, and if it found the Divine Dimension, it could transport the consciousness of the user there, so he could meet the divine beings while still being alive.

Wanting to meet God with a fresh mind, Abraham entered the sleeping pod in his bedroom, set it to four hours, and instantly fell asleep.
