Prologue
“Please Daddy, no more, it hurts. Please.” The eight year old girl pleaded.
“Shut up! Shut up! You useless thing! Look what you made me do!” The drunk middle aged man shouted at his daughter, as he kicked her around the kitchen.
Oh god, it hurts so much, oh god. The little girl cried as she cowered in a fetus position. No matter how many times she cried for help, no one came. No one.
Just then, the door opened. Click clack, click clack. The sound of high heels clacking against the floor as it came closer.
“What are you doing, Rick? Just leave her alone. Let’s go to bed.”
The little girl lifted her crying face and pleaded with the woman. “Please Mummy, I’ll be good, I’ll be good. Just don’t hit me, please, Mummy.”
The pretty woman turn a cold eye towards the little girl, “Stop calling me your mom, I’m not, there’s no way someone like you is my child.” She turned towards the man and said seductively, “Come on Rick, let’s go have a good time. I’ll make it good for you.”
The little girl whimpered and trembled as she laid there on the kitchen floor, bruises and cuts littered her small body.
“Tsk, shut up girl.” The man pulled her up by her arm, almost dislocating her shoulder, and pulled her towards the room.
The little girl, knowing which room they were heading for, tried to wiggle away, but was not strong enough to break out from the man’s strong hold. She cried and pleaded, begged them not to put her in the room. But they pay her no heed, and they opened the door to the room and threw her in, and said, “Useless things should be thrown away together with trash.” And they shut the door to the room, leaving the little scrambling for the door, trying to get out of the dark room.
But no matter what, she could not open the door, as it was locked. All she could do, was huddle against the door, closed her eyes so she could imagine she’s not in the dark room, covered her ears so she not hear what other animals or insects were scuttling around her.
During those times, she wish someone could hear her screams, and save her from this hell.
