Renegades

"Well written with a dynamic plot containing many facets. Author uses imagery to paint a picture giving enough detail to help the reader be "there" while nudging the reader's imagination to fill in the gaps. The intricacies of this short story does lay a foundation for a novel and I did find myself disappointed that there was not more. I did find myself wishing for more of a backstory on characters to make them more memorable (especially in a short story where there will not be more chapters to build on character depth) or a glossary to refer to. Overall, I did find it an enjoyable read."
