Look Beyond What You See

Intirquately woven and intriguingly unique. This author's has the ability to create a picture and draw the reader in. The wit and word play between characters is refreshing and the banter sure to bring a smile. Plot is well formulated with plenty of twists to keep you wondering and not so many cliches. An excellent read. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish and could scarcely put it down. I would love to read a sequel.

Honored

Wow. Very powerful plot. Excellent imagery. A few typos/grammatical errors but nothing major and easily cleaned up. Author has a real way with words and paints a picture for the reader that draws them in, putting them right in the middle of all that is happening, and leaving them eager to see what comes next. That is what a good story should do. Superb job. I look forward to reading what comes next.

Renegades

Well written with a dynamic plot containing many facets. Author uses imagery to paint a picture giving enough detail to help the reader be "there" while nudging the reader's imagination to fill in the gaps. The intricacies of this short story does lay a foundation for a novel and I did find myself disappointed that there was not more. I did find myself wishing for more of a backstory on characters to make them more memorable (especially in a short story where there will not be more chapters to build on character depth) or a glossary to refer to. Overall, I did find it an enjoyable read.

The Sentinel of Cassendar: The High Captain

I found this a very enjoyable read. The plot is well thought out and is laid out well, although there are some threads of it that a rather predictable. Imagery and styling is excellent and I often found myself pulled into the scene, seeing details all around me. At my reading, there were still several typos but given the author's note that it was still being proofed, they were understandable (besides they were easily overlooked). I am hopeful there is a sequel as I would like to see what becomes of the High Captain and Prince Leal as well as Galen and Princess Lexine and the rest.

A very intriguing storyline intricately woven together. Images painted are compelling, and draw the reader in. I read it start to finish, only putting it down when duties of life demanded it. Very enjoyable read.

Rejected By My Mate

Interesting plot. Wonder where it will go next? Good way to captivate your audience! Good imagery. There are many grammatical errors as far as sentence structure and tense, reminding me of foreign language translations that don't quite get everything right. But still a decent read.

The Alpha

Fascinating plot. Excellent imagery. Author keeps it moving at a great pace. Enjoyed it. There are a few typos and/or repeat words/tense issues, but nothing a good run-through won't fix.

The Guardian: A Journey Begins

A little slow at the start, but a good read nonetheless. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the chacracters and the imagery is great. Good plot. I look forward to the next in this series! Keep it up. You will only get better.

Technically: A few mispelled words, but overall nothing major. I do think something to indicate a change in character perspectives mid-chapter would benefit the reader. Even an extra space or a row of periods; I have also seen a simple asterix on a line of its own.
