Chapter 1-How it All started
In this world everyone has a fate, whether or not you can overcome that fate is all up to you. My fate has not been kind with me-Left by my parents to die in an alley when I was born, raised in an orphanage up until I was six, met with misfortune when the orphanage had been destroyed by powerful people solely because our teachers didn’t want to let us be taken by them. Most of my dear brothers and sisters had been taken away, those who were left ran away into the big city. I was left alone once again, no sister no brother no parents, just me and my fate.
The city of Huanbei, the best economic city in the whole kingdom, here travelers with riches would sell their goods in exchange for gold, silvers or bronze coins or even trade for other goods. Today the city is more crowded than usual, today the Zing sect would come and search for people to join their sect. In truth all of this is just a façade, they would take clueless kids with good spiritual power with the excuse of taking them as disciples when in truth they would take them to do labour and give them some low level cultivation techniques as compensation.
The busy city suddenly got covered by a huge shadow, above the clouds a huge dragon-like creature was fluttering it’s wings, slowly planing in the middle of the city.
Above it were five silhouettes, those were the direct disciples of the Zing sect. Their red robes fluttered in wind created by the landing, the five silhouettes jumped down from the creature- three men and two women, all of them beautiful like gods. The men had bodies full of muscles, perfect black and blonde hair, each of them carrying a weapon-a spear, a sword and a saber.The women had Jade-like skin, colorful hair and a voluptuous body, each of them with enough beauty to take down kingdoms.
With a flick of their hand, a table, a globe, a pen and paper appeared out of thin air, leaving everyone there dumbfounded.
These five people were one of the strongest in their sect, their aura is enough to kill everyone in that city.Although it’s the biggest city in the kingdom, that is for mortals, in front of cultivators all of this was just a speck of dust.
“I can’t believe we have to do this…those old bastards are so annoying!” one of the men started complaining.
“Shut up!Do you want to get punished again?” one of the women replied.
“Like those old farts can hear us down here.”
“Zhou Pei enough!”
“Alright little lady, calm down”
This little lady was Xiao Ye, the most talented disciple in the whole Zing sect.
“We must do this and must do it right.” continued Xiao Ye
“Alright everyone, anyone who is below thirteen years of age line up!”
Said the man who carried a spear.
In less than five minutes the a huge crowd has formed around the five cultivators.
In this huge crowd countless people could be seen, in this crowd a small boy who cannot be seen came to see what is going on.
This boy was wearing rugs and was munching on a piece of dried bread, his hair is sticky and smelly and his smell can kill birds.
“I said line up!” the spear man said once again.
Everyone started to line up in front of the cultivators, the small boy was dragged in a line unable to move due to his frail body.
“We will examine your soul force, if it is acceptable you will immediately be accepted as a disciple in the Zing sect!” said the man who had a sword.
In a few breaths of time the examinations started.
“State your name and age!” said the other woman
“Fey Shi, twelve years!” stated the young man in the front.
“Alright put your hand on the globe.”
“Mm.”
“Now focus your mind on it and try to transmit energy inside of it.”
“Yes.”
The young man closed his eyes for a brief period of time, after a while the globe started emitting light.
“Green level soul force-pass!”
“Next!”
“Name and age?”

…
…
“Green level soul force-pass!”
“Next!”
“Yellow level soul force-fail!”
“Next”
“Blue level soul force-pass!”
“Next!”
“Yellow level soul force-fail!”
“Next”
“I said next!”
The woman looked but she could not see anyone.
“Umm, here”
A cute small voice called out from below.
The woman looked at the boy with red eyes, how dare such a peasant try to take the test?Even if she wanted to shoo him away she could not, the elders were watching trough the monster eyes, she could not put the sect in a bad situation even if it is in this small city.
“Name and age?”
“S-shun…eight years.”
“Family name?”
“Umm…”
“Ahh good heavens.” sighed the woman in her thoughts.
“Alright, touch the globe and do what I said before.”
“Y-yes.”
Shun touched the globe and closed his eyes, the globe started emitting a rainbow of colors, when Shun opened his eyes the globe was neither yellow, green or blue, it had straight lines with 7 colors on each stripe.
“Umm…”
The woman remained dumbfounded, she had heard of this before but never saw it, she could not believe her eyes, she was able to meet a trash in her lifetime!
As she remained silent the monster issued a huge screech and nodded, this meant that the elders approved of this trash!
“P-pass…”
The examination continued until late at night, the number of people who passed were in the hundreds. Shortly after the examination ended a bunch of carriages came to pick up the new disciples.
Meanwhile in the Elders Hall.
In a big room filled with different paintings and candles with a huge table in the middle, there were twelve handsome-looking young men discussing with each other.
“Elder Su, why did you approve of that trash?”
“Hahaha, elder Yu, are you not aware?The trash work the hardest, and his rainbow soul force allows him to have great stamina haha!”
Even if they looked Young, these people were already thousands of years old, that is one of the advantages of being a cultivator!
“Elder Su, you don’t mean you want to hire this kid as your private trash?”
“Elder Li sure is sharp, that is exactly what I plan on doing!”
“Haha, I must give it to Elder Su, you got ahead of us!”
Along the road to the Zing sect everyone in the carriage was avoiding Shun due to obvious reasons, however none of them said a thing, the trip was quiet.
“Alright everyone!Wake up we have arrived!” yelled one of the men.
The five disciples still on the monster landed at the gates of the sect.
“Everyone here has earned the right to be a disciple of the sect, you will start out as Yellow robed disciples.You can earn a better standing in the sect by training and increasing your rank!If you reach Human layer 7th stage at the end of the year you will be promoted, if not you will continue being a yellow robed disciple until the next year.Every year you don’t meet the requirements another layer will be added to the milestone, I wish you all good luck!” Explained Xiao Ye in a gentle voice.
“You have one week to accommodate within the sect, after that you must start taking tasks in order to earn rewards, enter!”
As the disciple said that, the 10 meter gates opened slowly with no sound whatsoever.
From a glance one could measure that those gates were as heavy as an elephant.
Inside the sect hundreds if not thousands of people were running or just standing around, most of them had the aura of an emperor among mortals, the feeling of true superiority in all aspects.When the new disciples entered, everyone looked at them, either with pity, greediness or straight up killing intent.
In the skies two flying objects can be seen approaching the courtyard, from a closer look one can see that those objects were humans.
As those to two people landed everyone present except the newcomers greeted them.
“Greetings to the two elders!” in unison.
“Haha, we got a really good harvest this time, don’t you agree Elder Su?”
“Indeed Elder Yao!”
“What are you doing you fools?!Bow before the two elders!” said someone from the crowd.
“No need, no need.We came to select someone right away, and then we will take our leave!”
As the elder said this everyone remained in complete silence, for the elders to select someone, only one thing can mean-Slave!
Those selected by the elders may as well explode their meridians and commit suicide, no one knows just how ruthless those elders are with newcomers.
“Ara…even I feel sorry” thought Xiao Ye.
“Elder Su, I’l let you pick 1st.”
“Very well, let me see…”
Elder Su’s eyes looked over everyone when his eyes finally stopped on Shun.
“You brat, come here!”
“M-me?”Asked Shun confused.
“Yes you, are you deaf?”
“N-no I mean y-yes.”
Little Shin stepped forward with his tiny legs trembling.
“Come with me!”
“Y-yes…”
Little Shun had no choice but to continue with the mess he was dragged into.
Somewhere in the Grand Palace
“This is your room, rest here, and take a shower.”
“Y-yes.”
“Yes, Elder!”
“Y-yes Elder!”
Little Shun opened the door, he was welcomed by a beautiful maid with nothing but sadness in her eyes.
“H-hello…” said Shun with a timid voice.
“Oh my, what a small child!”
“Hello, Little one, I have been appointed as your maid.”
“Maid?”
“Ah, it means that I will take care of all your needs.”
Little Shun looked around the room and saw a bed, a sofa, a table and a few chairs, this was already better than what he had back in the slums.Tears started pouring down his face in an uncontrollable wave of emotions.
“Poor boy, what did he do in his past life to deserve such a thing?”
“It looks like he hasn’t bathed or eaten in forever, my god!”
“Oh little one don’t cry, why don’t you introduce yourself?”
“My name…my name is Shun.”
“Oh my, what a cute name!Here, let this older sister wash you!”
After taking a bath the maid dressed Shun in some pajamas and gave him some food.
“Here Shun, eat all you want.”
The maid brought all kinds of meats and vegetables in front of little Shun, all of the of the highest quality.
“T-thank you sister!Thank you!”
Little Shun started sobbing again, he has never eaten something like this.
“Oh my, here don’t cry.”
“Poor boy…”
“Tomorrow you will have to look presentable so eat all you want and sleep, this older sister will stay near you.”
The maid said all of this out of pity, once tomorrow starts there will be nothing but hard labour for little Shun.
