Chapter One
She gazed into his alluring green eyes, the unspoken words dancing in his pupils encouraged her to pull him closer till their lips were mere inches apart. This was the moment she cherished the most. The intimacy, not the sex, although she adored that more than life, the lovers feeling of just being together, staring into each other's lustful eyes and just existing in the space of desire and carnality was pure bliss.
"The way you look at me Scar, I just might think you're falling in love with me," River said with a cavalier smirk as he ran his rough hands over her body.
She rolled her eyes as she turned away from him, getting off his plush bed, she grabbed his silk robe off his nightstand. She wore the robe, hiding her naked skin from the predator's gaze. She was annoyed, he knew it because she always covered her body when she was. A punishment he guessed.
"Scar I was just joking," He sighed.
"You're always joking River. Cut the shit, you know I liked you before why the hell do you always have to tease me about it," she fumed.
River Horton, her longtime crush, short time fuck buddy always knew how to turn her off.
"Come on Scarlett you seriously can't be vexed right now----fine I'm sorry, is that what you want to hear?"
"Yes, it is actually." She folded her arms, "Don't say shit like that before sex, you know the rules."
He rolled his eyes as he got up from his bed to reach her. All six foot of brown curls and raw lust. "I know and I'm sorry."
He grabbed her waist, his eyes twinkling with mischief. Money and musk was his forever scent, which she adored. Scarlett couldn't resist melting into his stronghold, where she always felt protected. She didn't want to fall in love with him, she knew just being fuck buddies would slowly ruin her, yet she accepted his ridiculously offer knowing the consequences. After all, she was Scarlett Vox, the slut. She wasn't expected to love, she was good at just sex.
"Do you think we could ever----" Scarlett trailed off.
"No Scarlett, just sex remember," he said, kissing her neck softly.
She knew he basked in the attention she gave him. He teased her about it countless times, she always grew mad, yet she ran back to his arrogant ass every fucking time.
