I like.......
I like sleeping when the sun is streaming through the curtains and the morning birds are singing softly in the background while light melodies of Stevie Wonder are flowing through the house and children are chasing each other outside and dreams take over every part of my mind even the darkest parts where my fears and worries of this life fade away for the time being.
I like reading when the sky is filled with darkness and I hear the violent rain crashing against the roof or the brutal winds collide with the house making the wooden house creak and I hear nothing but the total emptiness of the house and I slowly escape from reality and into somewhere I have full control of my freedom.
I like chocolate when the sun is baking my skin and tan lines that will forever be a burden start to appear or when I take my first leap into raw,icy,crisp water and I take my first bite of the dark, brown block of happiness and my day got ten times brighter for a split second I’m free from any worries.
I like winter only early in the morning when everything from the polyanthus and the branches on every tree in your sight are coated with frost like the top of Mount Everest and being wrapped in layers and mountains of clothes with a mug of boiling hot coco rice and listening to the “Godfather of soul” James Brown filling every corner of my house
I like the beach when the waves crash against each other and I’m sinking into soft sand I get this sense of freedom and closure with the ruthless waves and the sinking sand or when I find creature of the sea washed up on the shore and the wave wash over me while people are caught up in their phones and not seeing the beauty only through the lens of someone else’s eyes.
