one : M y Description
This is my story. I am Marcelina Nicola Branch-Trujillo.
All I will say about myself right now is that I enjoy baking and art, and my favorite color is yellow. I am an older sister to 4 girls. I go to a middle school called Shirley Hawking Middle School; I am 13, and I am not who I appear to be. You can figure out the rest by yourself.
My story is one of many emotions. I don’t know- or, frankly, care -if you will like what I have to say. All I ask is that you listen.
Don’t just throw away my words like you might someone else’s. Don’t just let them go in one ear and out the other. Good things come to those who wait, but they also come to those who listen.
I came to this school about a week ago, and having the “New Girl” effect is good for publicity among the VAST majority of the other 7th graders in the school.
Also 6th and 8th graders.
So, when you get that much publicity, you feel you have to act like they want you to act, and say what they want you to say, right? Well, what I know is that when your “friends” are saying things behind your back in the bare second week of your “best” friendships, something is very wrong.
I’d think something is also wrong when you’re regretting things that haven’t even happened yet.
As soon as people realize that you’re not all that they cracked you up to be, they float you. Let you go.
Let you down.
Of course, after that you’re thinking, “I just need to be myself! Maybe then the right people will come to me!” And then you try that. And then even that doesn’t work. The people who you thought were truly exactly like you turn on you for no good reason.
Well, that’s partly what my story is about. Actually, now that I think about it, it’s really not even that much of it.
