Chapter 1
April was awakened by someone bouncing on her bed. She opened her green-blue, or aquamarine, eyes and squinted, just making out red hair. She groaned.
"Christopher! Its like..." The blonde paused her sentence to put her rose-gold rimmed glasses on. She looked at the clock and groaned once more.
"Its only 8, sissy!" The eleven year old said, getting off the bed.
"Anyways! I'm excited! We get to go to Diagon Alley!!!" The boy said. Before April could reply, her brother ran out of the room. She heard him running down the stairs. The fifteen year old witch got up and walked over to her closet. She grabbed a pair of jeans, a pastel pink t-shirt, and a bright yellow sweater and put it on. The female stood before her mirror and brushed her dark gold locks. April smiled, grabbed socks, and her handy-dandy camera. April walked down stairs and went into the kitchen. Her mum stood there, talking to her brother. She stopped and stood there, realizing how similar they were. Her mum turned to her.
"Ready to go?" She asked. April nodded and got her shoes on. They got into the car and left to go to the Leaky Cauldron. Once there, mum said hi to the innkeeper and went out the brick wall. Christopher was almost jumping up and down from the excitement. Mum took out her wand and tapped the bricks. They opened to reveal a bustling place, full of people, shops, and animals.
"Christopher Johnson, Welcome to Diagon Alley!" Mum said, a smile on her face. We walked through the entrance way, Christopher looking everywhere. We first went to Madam Malkin's, then Flourish and Blotts. April went upstairs, looking for something to get Rosie for her birthday. Yes, its only in a few months but April, being April, would forget. As she was browsing, she ran into a person. April dropping the books she was holding.
"Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't see you" The person said. April dropped to the floor and started cleaning up. The person bent down and picked one up.
"Its ok, I'm clumsy, I'm used to it" April responded. She stood up and person handed her one.
"Well, tha-" The female was cut off by a voice behind the person. They both looked to the voice. Standing there was a male with black hair, grey eyes, leather jacket, and jeans. He wore a smirk.
"Found a lady friend, Moony?" The male asked the person, or "Moony".
"Oh, Padfoot, leave Moony alone, he just almost killed this little girl" A boy with hazel eyes, glasses, and brown hair said. "Padfoot" rolled his eyes.
"Can we leave? I wanna go eat" A chubby, short blond haired boy asked. Hazel nodded.
"Come on, Moony, lets go" Hazel said, walking away from them.
"I'm sorry once more!" "Moony" said before following his friends. Thats when April realized she just had an encounter with the marauders.

"Bye Mum, Bye Dad!" April and Christopher shouted from the window. Their parents waved back. The train started and April turned around to find her brother and his trunk gone.
"Dang, he's fast" She said before dragging her trunk away from the window. She walked around until she saw a bright flash of red. A tall girl with blood red hair and dark skin tone stood in the corridor.
"Rosie!" April shouted. The girl looked up from her book and smiled.
"Well, well, hello little April" Rosemary respond to her friend. April smiled.
"Wanna go find Livvy?" The blonde girl asked. Rosie shrugged. April took that as a yes, and began walking. The walked for what felt like forever when they finally found their platinum blonde friend. They opened the compartment. The young witch looked up.
"I see red this month, Mary?" Livvy said. Rosemary scoffed.
"What no hello?" The red head said, offended. Livvy rolled her eyes.
"Hello April" The Hufflepuff said smiling at her house member. Rosemary gasped in shock.
"She gets a hello and I don't!?!" The Ravenclaw said, triggered. The two Hufflepuffs just ignored her and April sat down. Rosemary sat beside her glaring at Livvy. Thats how the rest of the ride went, those two bickering with April wanting to die. Finally, it was time for them to get their robes on and arrive at Hogwarts. As they were getting off, April spotted her brother talking to a platinum blonde boy. They were gone before April could reach her brother. They got into the carriages and was just the three of the until a red hair girl hopped in with them at the last moment. They stopped their conversation and stared at her. The female looked at them, sorry written on her face.
"Sorry, had to get away from Potter" She said the last bit with so much venom.
"Its ok! I'm April Davies, this is Rosemary Jones and Livvy Quinn" April introduced them to the female.
"I'm Lily Evans" Lily responded. They chatted till they got to the castle. They waved bye to each other before going to their different houses, Rosemary to Ravenclaw, Livvy and April to Hufflepuff, and Lily to Gryffindor. The sorting started and it wasn't a longbtime before they got Christopher. It was a few minute before the hat shouted Ravenclaw. The strawberry blonde boy walked over to the blue and black table. April found Rosemary and mouthed
Keep him safe.
She nodded. April wasn't paying attention until she heard a name that surprised her. Professor Mcgonagall called out Mark Malfoy and the boy Christopher was talking to earlier walked up to the hat. It took a few seconds before the hat shouted Slytherin. Both Christopher and Mark had looks of sadness but when they caught each other's eye, they both broke out in smiles. No one noticed except for a greasy haired male. Once the feast was over, Livvy and April were walking behind the rest of the group. The perfect, Jackson Quill, tapped the rhythm for the younger ones and they gasped. April smiled at them and entered the common room. From there, the went upstairs and found their roommates, Madison George and Phoenix Star chatting on their beds. They both smiled at the two and resumed their conversation. Eventually, everyone got their pjs on and layed down.
"Night Liv, Mads, and Ph" April said the dark room. They all said their goodnights and fell asleep.
