Relying on a stranger (Yoongi x Reader)

″I’m going out for a bit″ I said and stood up from my seat while grabbing my bag. Suddenly I felt someone weakly grabbing my hand making me turn my head.

″You don’t have to do this all the time″ my granny said weakly while grabbing my hand. I smiled and kneeled down in front of her cause she was sitting.

″It’s okay I don’t want you guys to suffer″

″But last time you got really hurt″ she said making me smile.

″I wasn’t that hurt. It was just a scratch″ I said smiling brightly. She started to smile too and stroked my hair while admiring my face.

″Your parents would be really proud if they saw you right now″ she said smiling.

″I hope so″ I said smiling and stood up again.

″I’m going now, see you tonight″ I said and bent over letting her kiss my forehead. I got out of the house and immediately got surrounded by the children of my village.

″Y/N are you going to work again?!″ one of them asked. I squatted down and nodded my head.

″Yeah but you guys are blocking my way″ I said joking. I felt someone tug on my sleeve making me turn my head.

″Mommy is sick...″ he said softly and I could see he was about to cry.

″I know..... I promise she will get better. I’m going to buy her some medicine today okay. The best of the best medicine which will instantly make her better!″ as soon as I said that his face lit up.

″Really?!″ he asked excited and I nodded my head while ruffling his hair.

″Really″ I said smiling and stood up.

″Gotta go to work now. Bye bye~~″ I waved and walked away leaving my small village. Ryu his mom was really sick and normal medicine wouldn’t heal her. She needed good medicine. And I knew exactly where to get it. For years my village has been outcasted by the kingdom. It was all because they believed in a stupid lie, saying that we wanted to kill the young king who was ruling right now. Not gonna lie, I really wanna kill him. Altho he is just 2 years older then me he is a really annoying brat that does what he wants. I bet he doenst even care about his people, but only about himself. Today I was going to make my way to the kingdom and give the best medical store there a small visit. Ever since we have been outcasted we got it really rough. We are really poor and no one wants to help us out just because we are outcasts. So I started stealing. Jewelry, medicine, clothes, food, money just everything in order for my village to survive. Only the adults in my village know what I’m really up to, the children think I have a job somewhere. But after today the days of suffering and stealing is gonna end. I’m going to search for Ciel. Our only hope to get our lives back on track. Ciel is a goddess. There is an old myth that there is a goddess named Ciel, who would grant one person on this earth him or her wish no matter what it would be. A lot of people searched for her with no result, some didn’t return from their journey. And some even got killed by other people. Everyone was starting to do everything in order to make sure no one would get that wish except for themselves even if it meant killing people. After years people started to stop believing in it. But I still believe in Ciel and so did my village. My grandma told me about the myth ever since I was little. It was like a bedtime story for me when I was younger. My parents once went in search of the goddess but they got killed. This time it’s my turn and I’m not gonna fail. I will do anything to find her and grant the wish I want. The wish for me and my village to be happy, not having to worry about food, clothes, good medicine. Being able to wear nice dresses, jewelry and live every day happy, instead of in fear and hunger.

It took me a while but I finally got to the kingdom. I put on the hood of my cloak making sure my face wasn’t that visible as I made my way past the gates. The cloak I wore was really nice I could easily hide the things under it that I stole. Today was my Lucky day cause there was a really big market. Everywhere were stands selling food, jewelry, fabric, weapons, and other stuff.

″Come here and get some nice juice apples!″ a guy screamed. A lot of people started surrounding his stand making me smirk. The easier it was for me. I easily grabbed some apples sneaking them under my cloak. I quickly walked further and put them in my bag. I went on for a while. Getting more food for everyone in the village, some jewelry and even some nice daggers for myself. But the most important thing I had to get right now was the medicine. I walked past the crowded market and made my way to a street with small shops. I scanned my surroundings and saw some guards walking around. I was very well known in this kingdom. If they would get a glimpse of my face I would be screwed. Finally, I found the medicine shop and the best thing, there were no guards around. I made my way to the back of the store and sneaked in. I quietly entered and heard the owner in the front of the store behind the counter talking to some customers.

″Lukine..″ I muttered softly to myself while searching through a shelf with all kinds of medicine on it. Lukine was a really rare medicine that could cure any disease. The thing that made it so rare was because the medicine was made of a flower that grew only once a year somewhere far in the mountains. My eyes lit up seeing the name plastered on a small bottle.

″Gotcha.,″ I said happily and grabbed the little bottle quickly putting it in my bag. I turned around to get away but didn’t know I knocked another medicine from the shelf, making it fall on the floor.

″Who is there?!″

″Shit″ I cursed under my breath while quickly running away the way I came in. As soon as I was outside I kept running and eventually saw the owner in front of his shop talking to some guards. His eyes landed on me and he immediately pointed at me.

″There is the thief!″ he screamed and the 2 guards instantly came running towards me.

″You got to be kidding me″ I ran my way towards the guards. I saw one of them lifting his sword that he was holding. I dodged it quickly and kicked his side really hard making him scrape against the floor as he fell. The other one looked kinda......new? We were looking into each other’s eyes and he stood there with his sword in his hand and his legs shaking a little. I laughed a little, he was indeed a new guard and he was scared thats for sure. I ran past him and soon heard screaming behind me. I looked behind me as I was running and my eyes widened. It was a bunch of guards running after me and some even on horses. I quickly started to look around as I was running. I needed to think of something to get me out of here quickly. If they catch me I will be dead in no time. I heard the sound of the horses getting louder and louder meaning they were getting closer with the second. I took a turn left and ended up in another street. I ran ahead of me but stopped in my tracks when I saw guards standing on the end of the street with their horses. I turned back around and there were the other guards. I was trapped.

″There is no turning back now Y/N″ one of them said smirking while walking closer to me with his horse.

″Kiro long time no see″ I said smiling and took off the hood. There was no point in hiding my face now.

″How is the eye?″ I asked making him mad. Kiro was the highest guards of the kingdom. We have encountered a lot of times and the last time we did I ended up stabbing his eye. That explains the eyepatch he was wearing. Suddenly I heard one of the horses behind me going crazy. I looked behind me seeing the guards dead on the floor. Another horse appeared with a horserider on it. But the person wasn’t visible, the person was wearing a cloak like me. The person started to run up to me in full speed and made his horse stop when he reached me. I saw Kira speeding up so he could go to me. All I saw was the mysterious person sticking out his or her hand. Without thinking twice I grabbed it and got behind the person. We instantly rode away with Kiro and the other guards behind us.

″Who are you?″ I asked as we were busy trying to get away.

″No time for introductions now, we need to get away″ the person answered and by hearing the voice I knew it was a guy.

″You better get us away alive″ I said and tried to get a look at his face. The only thing I saw was a small smirk appear on his face.

″Don’t worry about that″ he said smirking.
