Chapter 1
My name is Sakura Hijuno I’m 17 years old, I’m currently attending to the most prestigious school in Japan. My life long dream is to become an astrophysicist. I’m attending to “Osaka High.” This school is like trying to get in Harvard or some what like that. I’m aspired to study the universe and its wonders, I want one day to be able to own a garden of stars and galaxy. I know it sounds impossible, it is. But sure doesn’t hurt to dream a little. Imagine just planting a seed that contains a star. Later to grow into a star flower. The sound of that just makes my stomach flutter. Even though I know its impossible, buts that fine I’m just fine able to just study them. I keep a journal with me at all times, to keep track of something weird that happens in my day, or something interesting. When I fail a test I write down things to make myself motivated and I redo the same math problems on my journal so I can better myself.
After school I’m currently the secretary of the “Astronomy Club″ and we attend to meetings and stuff and do self research so this looks good in our college application. I usually stay here for hours and do my research with the limited tools that we have. There is currently 12 people in the club and our teacher that likes to join our research for fun and such. So far we have joined 2 science fair. We won those 2 competitions and thus leaving us with 2 trophies. Your wondering why so little science fair. Well as you can see we want to do as much research as possible with accurate data so we can keep those files for when we enter other science fairs. Enough about my rambling about science I don’t want to bore you. I had fallen asleep in my little lab in the club without even realizing it, and no one bothered to wake me up. I guess that’s fine.
I packed my stuff, got up, and locked up the club. At least they left the keys for me. I looked at the time and it was currently “6:30.” The sun was coming down and I was heading out to go home.
I’ve also realized I missed a call from my boyfriend “Garu.” Heading out of the school I called him back, “Sakura!? Are you alright? You weren’t picking up and I got worried!”
I sighed.“Sorry I fell asleep at the club again.″
Garu sighed, “Alright, just be careful when you get back home, okay?”
I told him not to worry, and I would give him a call back once I arrived home.
Garu is a very good boyfriend, he always made sure I was alright and if I ever needed anything from him, and just always made sure I was in check.
Something about the sun today made it feel a little different. The sunset was already coming down way to fast, or maybe my nap was to long and just happen to take up my time, as to why it was already getting dark so fast.
As I walked down the streets I could here rustling coming from a nearby bush. I went to check it out to see what it was, but something about that felt odd too. When the rustling of the bushes stopped a random kitten jumped out it, startling me.
I sighed in relief, feeling happy that it was just kitten. For some odd reason I felt that it would be something else. I went to the nearest convenience store and bought milk and gave it to her/ him. I grabbed my coffee bottle from my bag and used the top cap of the bottle and poured milk and gave it to her/him. I wasn’t really sure of the gender. The kitten purred while drinking the milk.
All the sudden a deep masculine voice said, “The same as always aren’t you?”
I was startled by this voice and turned around to see a tall 6′3 man with red/orangish hair with really light blue eyes that shined the oceans colors.
I looked at him confused, “M-me?”
The man shook his head, “No my cat.”
Some how I felt a tint of sarcasm in his voice. He went over to lend me out his hand and helped me up.
“Thats my cat you know?”
Tranced by his appearance I regained back to reality.
“Oh! Yes sorry... Thats a very cute cat you got there.”
I saw him smirk a little, or I’m not even sure what kind of smile that was, but somehow it was kinda of unsettling.
“My name is Reo” He said. “
I’m Sakura Hijuno.”
He smiled warmly as he picked up his cat. We stared at each other for a short amount of time. Until a familiar voice broke through our silent gaze.
“Sakura!”
I turned around to see Garu.
“G-Garu?!″
He grabbed me by the wrist and hugged me into an embrace. “You weren’t picking up your phone and something was off! So I came looking for you...” He said in a worried tone.
“Uh-I’m sorry I didn’t get miss call or anything-” I said a little embarrassed.
“Who is this?” Garu said sternly.
I pushed away from his embrace and explained myself.
“Oh I’m sorry this is Reo we just met as of right now... he seemed to lost his cat but I found it I guess.” I said.
“Not to worry and I’m not gonna perpetuate your girlfriend or anything.” Reo said in a reassuring but aggressive tone.
“Well if that the case I guess me and Sakura should be get going now.” Garu said passive aggressively.
He grabbed my hand and we began to walk home. From the corner of my eye Reo’s figure began to become more and more distant he didn’t turn around or walked away he stood there petting his cat. He looked hurt, but I wasn’t sure I was confused by this whole situation.
“Sakura. Your never walking home alone again.″ Garu said in a serious tone.
“W-what why not?” I asked puzzled.
“Gonna make sure NO ONE takes you from me.”
“Your being ridiculous.”
Garu pushes me to the wall. “I’m not gonna say this again. Your NOT gonna walk alone anymore and that’s final.” He said sternly.
I felt weirded out by this because I’ve never seen this side of him before. “A-alright.” “You didn’t know him right? At all?”
“No...”
“Good.”
“Who is this?” The man said sternly.
Grabbed Sakura into an embrace as if it were nothing. I felt my blood boil.
“Oh I’m sorry this is Reo we just met as of right now, he seemed to lost his cat but I found it I guess.”
Hearing that voice even after a long time, made me feel calm. I lingered so long just to here that voice again. Knowing that the women I love was okay.
“Not to worry and I’m not perpetuate your girlfriend or anything.” I added in a reassuring aggressive tone.
A tension broke between me and her boyfriend Garu.
“Well if that the case I guess me and Sakura should be get going now.”
They began to walk away and I just stood there in all the anger I had and could not move. I just kept petting my cat. Hoping and wishing for the best that they have NOT properly fallen in love. The further they walked away my soul shattered bit by bit. I couldn’t believe what was happening before my eyes. This is gonna be a REAL pain gaining her memories again.
