Lost in thought
Today I have been thinking. Thinking about our world. Are these people happy? Is everyday a war for them? Or is everyday easy and fun for them? We are living behind everyone's lies. Including our own. Oh I got to be skinny, or they won't like me. I have to have curves or I'm flat, and thats not attractive. I got to be pretty, but he doesn't like makeup. Should I wear this crop top? Or does it make me look like a fat hoe? And by these very people I am told this "Don't care what they think." Or I'm told "your pretty just the way you are." I'm even told to "be myself." If only the people who told me this would believe it themselves. I'm not going to change for your approval. I have found that I will never please you. I have been thinking about our world. Isn't happiness what truly matters?
