selfish ; karma akabane . assasination classroom
Karma hates her; the way she always serves as an annoyance, the way she babbles about the cute guy she met.
Karma loves her; the way she always sides with him, the way she treats him like none other.
Maybe the mixed feelings originated from the fact that there are very few moments in their history where the other isn't present.
It started from the very first steps Karma took. She would already be running around in her backyard, and Karma would watch with envy from his window. She would wave at him, signalling for him to join her.
Then, from time to time, spending the time at each other's houses to get away from the babysitter when their parents are away on a business trip - which isn't sparse.
She would join Karma on his different types of time-killing (pranks), although she would always be clever enough to flee the place before the authority comes in, leaving Karma to deal with the consequences himself.
Karma loves that about her.
That's why he thought she'd ditch him when he got sent to the End Class.
Well, he hopes she did. he isn't wrong, but the system stinks and he doesn't want her to suffer along with him.
It was to his suprirse when she didn't.
"You can't send him away - he did the right thing!"
Stop.
"So you'd just overlook bullying? What kind of principal are you?"
Please, stop.
"Miss, I'm sure you understand that defending a delinquent is equal to jeopardizing your position in Class A, even with your perfect scores and attendance."
Please.
"You make it sound as if it's such a bad thing." she snarls.
"Hey," Karma finally speaks, his tone wary, but his smirk ever so present. "I don't need you to worry about me."
Maybe it's the years they spent together, but Karma has mastered the art of reading her eyes, and vice versa.
Her eyes held anger, desperation, and fear. Karma had to admit, she was a little selfish. She wasn't afraid for Karma, about his future in Class E.
She feared of losing him.
And his eyes hosted betrayal, pent-up anger, and relief. In truth, he was as selfish as her.
He doesn't want to lose her either.
