She
The rain hit the ground with power. An almost steady, repetitive sound occasionally met with a vehicle zooming it's way by. It was a late night, around 10:40pm since he last checked it. A young man sat waiting at his usual bus stop. No car and no umbrella but a love for his job. He sat under as much covering the loyal stop would offer him as he continued to wait for the arrival of the only bus that did come this way. The man had finished his shift about twenty minutes ago and simply figured the bus was late. The usual of sorts. He shifted his stance slightly amd tugged at his vest which he had forgotten to remove his name tag reading David.
This never became uncomfortable for him, since he had been doing this for years now. It was a routine to him in fact. Wake up, clock in, work, lunch, work, clock out and now wait. He didn't mind it actually.. The waiting in the rain. He tjought of it was a way to really think. Accomplish things within his head. A way to make sure he slept during the night.
David, after a while, had looked back at his watch with no sigh of impatience. 11:54pm it read. The bus...very late. Now upon looking across the way, the other stop, stood aother figure. A female to be exact. She sat with a dim white light over her face. Her phone he assumed but it was too dark to really make anything else out about her. She did however, wear a thick coat and scarf. Obviously perfect for the kind of wealther...compared to David and his thin one.
Who was she-?
