"The friction of the characters where dead on. I felt like I was right there with them in every scene. For a horror story there is not much blood in gore. This story relies a lot on having a tense atmosphere that generated fear as you read it. You are just waiting for a monster to jump out and start killing the characters. The author should turn this into a full length novel. "

"I'm not fond of short stories. The only ones I have read are those of old, well-known Russian authors. I barely even like any books. But this was brilliant! I liked you didn't get to know much about the creature. I find creatures, especially in horror movies, to be far more scarier when they are not visible. I liked how the amount of description and the means of description were done so well as to be able to picture what was going on without providing unnecessary detail. And I liked how it concluded in such a way that makes you feel relieved but also still curious."
