“Y/N, can you hear me?”

“Loud and clear,” I whisper into the hidden mic and earpiece as I walk into the club. My ears are already bleeding with the ferocity of the loud music in my right ear, the earpiece thankfully blocking out some of the sound in my left ear.

“Okay, remember your job,” my older brother speaks into my ear.

I start searching around with my eyes as I walk over to the bar. “Iced water please.”

The bartender eyes me, making me uncomfortable. “Are you sure you don’t want something to get you a bit...looser.”

I slowly turn back to glare at him. “I’d kindly suggest that you get me an iced water and leave me alone. I’m not someone you wanna play with.”

“Y/N,” my brother mutters in a warning tone. “Don’t lose sight of the mission.”

I roll my eyes. “You know what? Forget the drink.” I slide a ten dollar bill over to him. “This is to leave me alone.”

“Y/N, to your right, walking in one of the side doors.”

My head jerks to the side and I see the target. I quickly reapply my lipstick and fluff my hair as I start to walk over to his general area. He and his two friends start walking, presumably to their meeting spot which is in one of the private rooms.

I speed up my pace and pass right by him, flipping my hair in his face to get him to stop walking and sinking my heel into his toes in the process.

“O-oh my god! I’m so sorry! Is your foot okay?” I look up into his eyes and give him the most worried look possible.

He grimaces in pain and waves his hand at me. “No, no, it’s fine. I can walk it off.”

“Let me buy you a drink or something.”

He bites his lip and chuckles. “I guess I can spare a minute for a drink.”

“Y/N, all you have to do now is lure him into a different private room.”

I smirk as I realize my plan is working perfectly. “I hope you can hold your alcohol because I think we should do shots.”

His smile drops. “I don’t really think—”

“Oh, nonsense!” I cut him off. “I won’t judge how you act if you get drunk and you can always call a taxi if you need a ride home.” I tug at his arm. “Come onnnnnnn,” I pout. “Let’s have some fun.”

He chuckles another low chuckle. “Okay, fine. Just a few shots.”

My pouty face always works. “Yay,” I squeak out, almost rolling my eyes at myself. I hate girls that act like this and I would never be acting like this if I weren’t on a mission.

I grab a shot and down it. I don’t drink much, but I plan on getting more alcohol in him than in me. I’m good at getting people to do what I want.

He tilts his head and swallows down a shot as well.

“Feels good, right?”

He nods. “Sure, beautiful.”

Beautiful. What a joke.

“Another one, come on!”

He downs another one while I pretend to drink mine.

“So, what’s your name, gorgeous?”

“Courtney,” I smile, the fake name slipping from my lips easily.

“My name is—”

“Jung Chiwon!”

We both spin around at his name being called from behind us.

A tall, gorgeous man stands before us. His eyes are bright and round and beautiful, drawing me in. His arms are muscular and his shoulders are broad and manly. He has his hands stuffed in his pockets and a smirk resting on his lips.

“Jeon Jeongguk,” Jung Chiwon announces beside me.

Did he just say...Jeon Jeongguk?

At this point, I’m wondering why I haven’t heard from my brother in a long while and I suddenly get really worried, considering the fact that the city’s most notorious assassin is standing right in front of me.

I push my tongue into the side of my cheek, annoyedly. What is he trying to do? What is he doing here?

I decide to introduce myself. “Hello, Jeongguk. I’m Candice.”

Chiwon’s eyes furrow beside me. “Didn’t you say it was Courtney?”

My eyes widen slightly. I’m letting this mission slip. Where is my brother when I need him?

“Candice is a nickname my buddies gave me. It’s actually my middle name. I prefer Candice.”

Chiwon nods and relaxes. “You should have said that to begin with. Anyway, Jeongguk, what are you doing here? How can I help you?”

“I actually need to speak to you privately,” his voice vibrates through my body and sends shivers down my spine. It could be because he’s ridiculously gorgeous. Either that or because he’s an intimidating assassin.

This can’t happen. I have to keep him with me. “Actually I got to him first. Wait your turn.” My confidence surprises even myself, but the most surprised of us is Jeongguk.

His eyes widen and he clenches his jaw. He’s not used to my attitude. Don’t worry, buddy. Hopefully, this will be our last encounter.

He grits his teeth. “I’m sorry, Candice,” he puts more emphasis on my fake name. “But I have urgent business with Chiwon, here.”

Something is up. I can tell that if he gets Chiwon, I’m not getting him back and we need him alive.

“What business?” I squint at him.

“None of your business.”

I cross my arms. “Well, he’s with me right now, Jeongguk.” I give him a smug look. I will win this.

He steps closer to me, I’m assuming it’s in an attempt to intimidate me. So, I show him that I’m not intimidated by stepping forward until our noses touch. “I got to him first, Jeon,” I whisper, my breath hitting his face and making him flinch slightly. I chuckle at his reaction. “Sorry, but you’re gonna have to wait your turn,” I smirk in his direction, confidence radiating from my words.

The look I get from Jeongguk tells me he’s going to put up a fight and, oh, am I ready for it.

Hi jimineejamzz,

I recently went through your story "THE JEONS {BTS Fanfic/Smut}" and I loved it so much. Your writing is amazing, and I kept thinking how cool it would look as a comic.

I really loved the club/mission scene in Chapter 1, where Y/N moves through the noisy crowd, plays the part to distract the target, and uses the small, confident gestures (the fake name, the heel in the toe, the shot strategy) to control the moment ,that sequence has great pacing and would be ideal for comic panels: wide, moody establishing shots of the club, mid-shots of the flirtation, and tight close-ups for the small tells and reactions. I also loved the tense close-contact moment later in the same chapter where Jeongguk steps forward until their noses almost touch, that intimate, charged pause would be perfect for sequential art emphasizing facial expressions, dramatic framing, and slowed-down beats.

I’m specialize in adapting stories into manga/comics, and I’d love to draw your story into a comic/manga. No pressure though, I just think your work would look awesome in comic form. If you’re interested in a paid collaboration, I’d love to discuss bringing your story to life visually!
