°How it all began°

"Happy Birthday to you~" They all sang as Mi Rae stood in the middle with a cake on the table that says 'Happy 16th birthday'.
Once her family and friends finished the song sang at every birthday. She blew out the candles making a wish she hoped to come true.
Gifts brought were given to her as she opened them and thanked everyone. Once that was done everyone separated to enjoy the food and drinks served.
"Where is Hoseok?" She asked her best friend Lee Mina who was talking to her mother.
"He should be at the balcony." Mina her best friend answered with a smile and Mi Rae thanked her making her way to the balcony where she spotted Hoseok looking at the starry sky, it's beauty mesmerizing.
"The stars are shining brighter today" He said shifting his gaze to her. She blushed as she had just been caught staring.
"U-uh...Yeah..." She breathed stammering at the boy in front of her whom she's had a crush on for 6 years now. She had always wanted to tell him but never got a chance. But this time she has to woman-up and tell him before she leaves for the states with Mina her best friend to further their education and also train to be a kpop star
Hoseok smiled at her giving her butterflies. He looked down at the small box he was holding before handing it over to her.
"Here... Happy birthday" He said, pinching her cheeks.
She collected the box from him and noticed the little red heart it had in the middle. She opened it without saying anything and saw a charm bracelet she admired it before noticing a writing on the bracelet. It was hers and his initials.
She looked up at Hoseok who kept on smiling. He raised his hands to show the same exact bracelet with the same exact initials.
"I wanted to get us rings but we are to young for that so just think of it as a couples ring." He said taking the bracelet out and putting it on for her.
"Huh?!" She looked confused as to what was going on.
"I'm confessing to you before you leave for the states. You and Mina are leaving in three months right?" He said looking into her eyes.
"Ah... Yea" She said unable to control the smile forming up on her face.
"Well then let's do many couple things before you leave." He said putting his gaze back to the sky.
"C-couple things?!" She stammered due to the excitement and butterflies building up in her stomach.
"Yea isn't that what you do when you want to make memories with the person you like?" He said.
"You like me?" She said. she wanted to jump about but she maintained self control.
"Stupid of course I liked you for all this years. How come you didn't notice all the constant states I've been giving you." He said.
She did notice but she thought that was her. "I did notice....but I thought that was me" She whispered.
"I like you Jung Hoseok." She said. He looked down at her lips biting on his own.
"I like you to Kang Mi Rae" He said before taking
"Well it all depends on you now." He said making her look him in the eye.
"Huh?" She asked"
Do you like me back Kang Mi Rae" He said taking a step closer leaving only a inch of space between them.
"I like you Jung Hoseok." She said. He watched as her lips formed the words he wanted to hear.
"I like you to Kang Mi Rae." He said before taking her lips in his own. Their lips moved in sync.
"Can you guys stop sucking each other's faces and come back inside?!" Mina said standing by the door that leads to the inside.
They separated from theie make out session and turned to look at their friend. They've been a trio ever since elementary days.
"You guys finally confessed it was getting boring." She said smirking to herself.
"You knew?" Mi Rae with a tint of pink on her face.
"We all knew." She said shrugging. "Anyways come back inside and eat something before your Mother gets worried." Walking off calling Mi Rae's mom 'mother' they we all really close to that point.
"Well we should go then" Hoseok said taking her hand in his.
"Hmm...yeah..." She replied wishing this moment would never end.
November 1 2010
Mi Rae and Mina were at the airport with their families to bid farewell. Once she finished hugging and saying goodbye to her mom and little sister she went over to Hoseok to give a goodbye before she leaves.
"I guess we weren't able to do everything as a couple together huh?!" Hoseok said putting his hands into his pocket.
"Yea..." She said looking down at her feet.
"Don't be sad. I'll wait for you." He said hugging her.
"I'll be back" she said hugging him back.
"Don't make me wait to long." He said breaking from the hug and giving her a pout.
"Ok... I wont." She giggled at how cute her boyfriend is. "Don't forget me when you are famous." She said.
"I would never." He said taking her hand and putting it on his heart. She giggled.
"Promise to never take of that bracelet?" He said looking into her eyes the words coming out more like a question.
"I will if you won't." She said smiling from ear to ear.
"That's what I needed to hear." He said giving her a smile back.
"Kang Mi Rae get you butt over there before we miss our flight." Mina said standing between the both of them.
"Fine.... Bye Hoseokie~" She waved walking over to her dad who was giving her mom a goodbye hug.
"Bye Hoseok" Mina said turning over to Hoseok giving him a goodbye hug.
"Bye Minnie" He said breaking the hug. Mina chuckled at the nickname her friends gave her.
They did a secret handshake before separating. They all bid a final farewell before disappearing into the crowd of travelers.
Going back home Hoseok made a decision to work hard and improve on his dancing skills if he was going to be famous. They all decided to work hard for their dreams and debut and meet again.
This is my first time on Inkitt I hope people like it :). It might not be a good first chapter but it gets interesting further.... Haha... Lol ok bye bye
