You Only See What You Want To See

It was 11:35 pm as the group of slave-traders knocked on his door. Yutaka, a thick man around 50, opened. He was dressed only in short pants and his little brown hair was messy.

“What do you guys want?” he asked annoyed. He was busy with drinking sake and watching porn.

“We've got a little sweet present for you, Yutaka” the leader of the group answered. “We just have picked her up nearby and thought that you might want her, before we try to sell her on the black market.”

Yutaka looked curiously at the red-haired girl standing in front of him. She was only dressed in a white dress. Shyly she looked down at the ground, with her small hands crossed in front of her.

She might be 12 or 13. But she could also be 15 or 16. It was hard to tell; though this wasn't important right now.

Yutaka licked his lips. He felt how his manhood turned hard. He imagined this girl without the dress.

“What prize?”

The leader smirked. Yutaka was one of the group’s regulars.

After hearing the wanted prize Yutaka walked back into his great house that was placed near the border to the Rain Country.

This would be an awesome night. Better than sake; better than porn.

After buying the innocent child the leader said only “Have fun” and disappeared along with his group into the night while Yutaka pulled the girl inside.

He dragged her into his bedroom, wanting her so badly.

She still looked at him like she didn’t have any idea what he was about to do to her.

She was so innocent, so naïve.

With every passing second Yutaka wanted her more and more. He just couldn't stand it any longer. She drove him crazy by just standing right in front of him.

Licking his lips once more Yutaka placed a chubby finger under her chin and made her look at him. They made eye contact.

There were so many naked, bloodied women. And all he felt was lust.

He beat them. He fucked them. He screamed at them.

Young girls, innocent little girls, whom he treated like meat.

They cried. They begged him for mercy. They tried to fight against him.

He didn’t care. It only turned him on more.

Every weekend he grabbed himself a female. He wanted to break them; he wanted to hear their screams. They had to obey him.

He believed that women only exist for men’s pleasure, and nothing else.

Gasping the girl suddenly stumbled back. She looked at him with wide eyes. Her body was shaking and her eyes were filled with tears.

Yutaka only laughed. “Do you get it now what I’m planning to do with you? But it’s too late. You’re already mine for this night. And there’s nothing you could do about that, little girl.”

“You… you… Why do you hurt these women so badly? Why do you treat them like this? They did nothing wrong.”

Confused Yutaka looked at the girl. What the hell was she talking about? Well, he didn’t care. All he wanted was a good fuck.

“Come here you bitch!” he demanded while walking towards the girl. Roughly he grabbed her wrists with one hand while pulling at her dress with the other.

He had waited long enough for this.

The girl stood completely straight. Her teeth were gritted in anger.

“You’ll pay. You’ll pay for what you’ve done, you bastard!”

“Will you shut the fuck up?!” He slapped her across the face.

Suddenly the girl was covered in a bright glow.

“Secret element jutsu: Dragon of the wind!” All of a sudden loud roar came from the girl and a stormy wind filled the entire room.

Yutaka stumbled back. What was going on? What did the girl do? Was it even her? No, it couldn’t be her, could it? Was she a ninja?

His blood went cold as a mass of wind started to take form in front of the girl. A single glowing eye watched as Yutaka fell on his butt. His mouth and eyes were wide open in surprise and disbelief. His heart was racing in fear.

Suddenly the figure let out a loud roar. Yutaka wanted to cover his ears, but he was like frozen. He was terrified.

“P-please… Don’t k-kill me, I-I-I’ll give you e-everything.”

“It’s too late!”

The last thing Yutaka saw in his life was a figure made of wind with glowing eyes flying towards him; and a little innocent-looking girl standing behind it.

The first thing I heard when I woke up was the whistling of some birds. The wind rustled softly through the leaves.

I was lying on soft grass. If I had to guess I would say that I was in a clearing in the middle of a forest.

Wait… a forest? Why am I in a forest?

I tried to remember what had happened before I fell asleep, but I didn’t remember.

Slowly I rose up into a sitting position, eyes still closed. My whole body was arching from laying on the hard ground.

I yawned and opened my eyes.

All I saw was… blackness.

Huh?

Confused I blinked sometimes, but nothing changed. What the hell…?

Maybe it was night…?

As if it had heard my thoughts a bird started chirping very loudly. Birds didn’t sing in the night. Also I saw neither stars nor the moon, and even if it would have been cloudy, I still would see something, wouldn’t I?

So… what was going on?

I moved my hand up to my face and touched my eyelids. I wasn’t blindfolded. But I still couldn’t see.

You’re blind. The thought came out of nowhere. Nah, I couldn’t be. I wasn’t blind. I knew how the sky was looking, the trees, the grass, the sea. I knew that I had short black hair and a ninja headband tied around my head…

Yeah, that’s right, I’m a ninja! I was just a genin though, but still a ninja. And I am from…

Damn, which country am I from? My family lived in…

I had no clue.

Okay, now I was getting scared… What the heck was happening to me?

My name is Tora which means tiger. I’m 14 years old. I’m a genin, but I was stronger than the others and I had kicked all of their butts… or maybe not. I did not know for sure because I couldn’t remember.

Argh, that was so frustrating! What was wrong with me?!

“Shut up” I yelled at myself. I could hear a few birds flying away.

I wasn’t blind. I’ve never been blind. I could see! I could see when I was at home with my dad and my mom… whom I couldn’t remember.

Why not? What had happened? What was going on?

Maybe I have had an accident. Maybe I’ve hit my head on a stone or something.

But my memories would be coming back, wouldn’t they?

And the light… maybe my brain was right and I was blind.

NO!

I widened my eyes. Come on, colours and light, I want to see you again! I don’t want to look the rest of my life at pitch-black darkness!

There was no use. I couldn’t see.

I was blind.
