The chase

A black cat ran forward, jumping over a trash can his paws thudding on the hard concrete. The sound of dogs barking and angry two legs sounded behind him. He looked back quickly, he kept running fearing that if he stopped he would be killed or worst. He looked forward and quickly skid around the corner, he turned again and launched himself into a bush. Everything was quiet, he was scared, he was full of fear. He turned around and kept running until he reached a small group of cats.

Big and small the cats gathered, the fearful looking ont their friends face worried they. Breathing heavily the cat said. “They...he..I..phew!” He collapsed. A brown cat stepped next to him and shook his head “Luna!, Pinapple!, help me take Midnight to Stormy!” The cat called, the other cats worried for their friend Midnight and hoped he would get better soon

Midnight woke up in a medium sized den filled with herbs, he was sure this was stormys den. “Stormy?... are you there?” He asked weakly lifting up his head to take a look around “I’m here kid” replied the fluffy grey cat
