Chapter 1
Jimin stretch's his tired limps, hearing a few satisfying cracks of bones. He yawns as he clicks open the door, jumping down from the large van. His feet it the gravelled pavement, wobbling slightly as he'd been sitting down for hours.
"It's so hot here! Screw you sun." The high pitched voice of his baby brother rings, wining for the hundredth time about the heat.
"Yeah no shit Sherlock it's summer. Idiot." Jimin rolls his eyes at him, Caleb shoved him in response.
They'd been fighting non stop lately, you could blame it on the hormones or the fact they moved away from the only place they called home. After his parents spilt up, his father having cheated. His mother decided they needed a fresh start, preferably in a different country away from him. She easily got custody as their father didn't really fight, seemed as though he wasn't too bothered about not seeing his two sons.
"Boys can you please stop bickering and help me unload all our stuff." Their mother came from the back, a box in hand.
"Sorry mum." They both said in unison, knowing how stressed she was after everything that's happened.
Jimin loved his mum, truly did. She was the kindest, most loving person he knows. She didn't even pat an eyelash when he came out, in fact she started crying. Hugged him suffocatingly tight as she said how proud she was, how she was so touched he felt comfortable telling her. His father wasn't to bothered either, did say are you sure it's not a faze? to which Jimin replied I like dick dad.
"Mum do you think we can go to the beach? I heard Bondi has amazing waves." Caleb asked while he picked up a box from the back of the van.
"We'll see how much we get done okay? But maybe tomorrow." She smiles at him, aware he probably did need some time to relax.
Jimin grabs himself a box, groaning as he realised he'd picked up on of the heavier ones. He shuffles his hands around until he got the box comfortable, beginning to walk up the lawn. His eyes catch a young man to his left, he was walking out his front door. Jimin couldn't help but notice how his tight pants hugged his ass, how his shirt was just see through enough for him to catch a glimpse of his muscles underneath. The man had a leash in his hand, connected to the other end was a grey blue eyed pit bull. It's tail waged between its legs as the man bounced a ball in his hand with a smile.
"Stop drooling Jimin you might get your shirt wet." His brother teases, breaking him from his trance.
"Shut up." Jimin glares at him before continuing to walk, secretly watching the man walk down the footpath to the park which sits opposite them.
He walks into their new house, it was a little smaller than their one before but still bigger than they probably needed. It was an open plan, the living room and kitchen connected to make one large open space. There was a small reading room which had large windows that faced the road. Upstairs was two bedrooms and a bathroom. His mothers was downstairs, with her own on-suite. The kitchen had sliding doors that lead to the garden. It was a decent size considering, had enough room for deck chairs and an outside table.
"Mum! Where do you want this?" He saw his mother in the living room unpacking some of the stuff.
"In the kitchen hun, that box has all our electrical products." Jimin nods, heading into the kitchen, placing the box on the little island.
The sun seemed to only grow more hot, the heat rising, sending his skin cooking. His white shirt was now drenched in sweat, sticking to him like glue. It had been only an hour but he was completely exhausted. All this running back and forth with heaving boxes was killing him. Him being the oldest and the man he obviously had to take all the big things his mum couldn't carry.
"Fuck it's so hot." Jimin complains, lifting up his shirt to fan himself.
Jimin decided he couldn't take the heat, regretting ever wearing jeans. He removes his sweat soaked shirt, pulling it over his shoulders. He placed the shirt around his waist, tucking it into the hem of his pants.
"Oh my god Jimin." His mother shakes her head, not surprised at all.
"What? It's hot mum." Jimin flicks his sweaty hair back, grabbing another box.
"Least put some sunscreen on, I don't want you getting burnt. And since when did you have two nipple piercings?" She looked at the two pieces of metal that were pierced through his skin.
"You said I could get them done for my going away present." Jimin smiles at her cheekily, watching her roll her eyes.
"I said one not two." She shakes her head, laying out more boxes on the lawn to be taken.
"Are you saying I don't look good with two in? Because these are nonrefundable you know." Jimin glances down at his chest, he rather liked them, made him feel kinda cool.
"Just get these boxes inside, you're lucky I'm such a cool mum." Jimin laughs, he couldn't deny that he was certainly lucky.
"Sugar! Sugar get back here." Caleb runs out the house, their mix breed Staffie who'd they brought over was running out.
"I thought she was still in her crate? Why is she out, we're not done." Jimin puts his box down, angry at his brother for letting her out, she didn't even know the neighbourhood yet.
Jimin chases after her, she runs around without a care. Just so excited to be out, to stretch her legs. Without looking she runs across the road, having smelled the scent of another dog.
"Sugar! Sugar get back here now." Jimin screamed, following her across.
He sprints into the park, screaming her name as he frantically runs around. His feet stop in their tracks when he spots her, and she just so happens to be with the sexy neighbour he was checking out earlier. She was trying to play with his dog, jumping, tail wagging.
"Sugar!" He runs towards them, grabbing her collar to pull her back.
"I'm so sorry, bad girl. You don't just run off like that." He scolds her, kneeling down to pat her as he could never be truly mad at her.
"It's okay, Milo seems to like her." The man laughs, Jimin snaps his gaze up, can't help but find that the most beautiful sound he's ever heard.
"Milo?" Jimin looks to the grey dog whose tail is wagging like crazy.
Jimin goes to pat him, Milo moves into, liking the affection. The dog licks his hand, going for his face, causing Jimin to laugh.
"Milo down." The man's voice was milky, soft as he spoke to his dog.
The dog reluctantly stops, going back to stand by his owners feet. Jimin stands up, feeling the man's eyes on him. He looks up at him, seeing a small cheeky smirk. He then looks down at himself, his eyes widen when he realises he's topless and his nipple rings are on full display.
"Haven't seen a boy with those before." The man laughs lightly, Jimin could feel his cheeks heat up.
"Umm yeah, it was a present. Thought they looked cool." Jimin scratches the back of his neck while sugar kept moving around in his hold.
"Oh they do, kinda sexy even if you don't mind me saying." Jimin felt his heart leap out, not believing this hot man just said that.
"No! That's exactly what I was going for, makes me stand out you know." The man nods understanding, their was a wave of silence that came after.
"Jimin! Did you find her?" His little brother comes screaming, Jimin closes his eyes, sighing in embarrassment.
"Yeah, she's fine." Jimin turns his head, watching him run over.
"What took you so long? And why are you naked?" His eyes scan Jimin's bare torso, frowning.
"I'm not naked! It's hot." Jimin sends him death glares, he notices but ignores it.
"Oh? You're the guy he was checking out earlier, you're our neighbour." Jimin almost choked, his eyes widen as they refused to look at the man.
"Caleb! Shut the fuck up." Jimin whispered to him with anger, but he just returns it with a cheeky smile.
"You're the guys that brought the house? I heard you guys were moving in soon, cool. Guess we will be seeing each other a lot more then." The man smiles, Jimin chews his lip, Caleb keeps the playful grin on his lips.
"Jimin will be happy about that, means he can see more of you." He wiggles his eyebrows, Jimin could've killed him right there with no remorse.
"Caleb! Piss off now and take sugar back." Jimin stares at him with his most piercing gaze, Caleb could see he was going to get it later so he does what he said.
"I'm sorry about him, his an asshole. Just ignore everything he's said." Jimin tries clearing the thickness in the air, hating his brother so much at that moment.
"Hey it's all good, we've all got annoying friends like that." The man smiles, grabbing the ball and throwing it, Milo races after it.
"He's my brother actually, and yes, he's very annoying." Jimin watches Milo fumble with the ball in his mouth, spit going everywhere as he shakes it.
"Brother? God that explains it, they are annoying, just the worst." He laughs, Jimin smiles, couldn't get enough of it.
"Yeah, I'm adopted that's why there's no resemblance. Thank god, cause I don't want to look like him." Jimin explains as he saw the slight confusion as he was Korean and his brother was white with blonde hair.
"Ahh right, well if it makes a difference I think you look great. You're Korean right?" He asked, Jimin nods.
"Yeah, though I can't really speak it since my parents aren't and I didn't grow up there. You?" Jimin knew he was Korean to, his accent gave it away.
"Yup, Korean through and through. Moved to Australia like four years ago. In that time had to learn how to speak English otherwise I would've got very far." He laughs, Milo comes back up, dropping the ball to his feet so he can pick back up to throw it.
"Wow! Seriously? That's sweet as, wish I had that dedication to learn Korean." Jimin was impressed, his pronunciation was perfect.
"You know I could always-." He doesn't finish as the booming sound of his brother screams to him.
"Jimin hurry up! God stop flirting and help us." He was going to kill him, he no longer cared if he would go to prison his brother was going to be dead as soon as he got his hands on him.
"Caleb!" His lungs burnt, how badly he wanted to let the ground beneath him cave in.
"I better go, sorry my dog disturbed you. She can be a real handful." His feet reluctantly start to move, his body wanting to stay and talk to his hot neighbour some more.
"I really don't mind I can be a real handful too, I'll see you around kid." He gives a cheeky wink before Jimin runs off with his cheeks a hot red.
Jimin gets back to his house, sweaty and hot with a smile locked to his lips. Guess moving wasn't going to be all bad he thought, after all a hot neighbour was enough reason to want to stay.
