Chapter 1

Jay, Jaylyn!! are you alright? When there was no response they keep screaming again and again more loudly than before. All of a sudden someone stopped a few feet from me. “She is here” the guy next to me signaling to the others. They all run towards me worried and keep staring at me.

Ehmmm, who are you guys and why are you staring at me like you’ve seen a ghost? I asked.

“Oh my chinchin, she doesn’t remember who we are,” one person said.

You don’t remember us? another person asked.

Well, we’ve got a lot of work to do, another remarked.

At least she survived from the fall, the last one said.

What fall are you talking and why are you calling me Jay? I asked.

One of them volunteered to explain everything to me. Your name is Jaylyn, Jay for short. We were ambushed and unfortunately one of the bandits knocked you out at the edge of the hill and you fell from up there, he said pointing to the hill in front of me. What? I interrupted. You mean, I fell from there and I’m still alive? I asked forgetting about all the information she had given me earlier.

Wait! No! I’m dreaming, I keep mumbling to myself.

My head hurt and I couldn’t remember who they are or even who I am. I heard them whispering but couldn’t figure out what they were saying. I wondered who they’re as I drifted into sleep. I woke up to a rustling sound.

Wait, why am I still here?

Where do you think you will be? The annoying sarcastic guy answered.

Guys, she is awake; he continued.

Now they all lined up and keep staring at me looking for reassurance that I’m back to normal.

Look, I don’t know why I’m here or who you are, so please stop staring at me like that. They gave a heavy sigh and left.

What is the use of telling you if you can even remember that, the annoying guy said.

I was boiling with anger when the flower boy with bluish red eye smiled and signaled us to be quiet.
