Chapter 1
I woke up to my alarm going off and then banged my hand onto it super hard before sitting up and getting out of bed. I yawned and stretched before going to my opened closet and grabbing my clothes. Laying my clothes on the bed, I took my pajamas off and then threw them on the bed before picking my other clothes up and putting them on. I got ready for my first day of school and then walked down the stairs before getting my breakfast ready and going to the table.
I sat down in a chair and started to eat quickly while I thought about the new school year.
When I was finished with my breakfast, I got up and walked to the trash can before opening it and throwing my trash away. I washed my hands and then dried my hands off with a towel before getting my book bag (that has my school supplies in it) and then zipping it closed. I put my shoes and socks on before tying my shoes up. I picked my book bag up and put it on my back before grabbing my keys and then headed out of the door, closing it and locking it tightly behind me.
"I can't wait for the first day of school." I whispered, starting to walk to school alone.
When I got to school, I went into the main office and got my schedule/locker combination before walking out of there and then went to my locker. I put the combination in and then opened it before taking my book bag off and unzipped it. Pulling my books and binders out, I put my book bag in my locker and then slammed it shut before looking at my schedule.

2A: English— Mrs. Mitchell
3A: Government— Mr. Smith

4A: Algebra 2/Trig— Mrs. Hyland
1B: Study Block— Mr. Sanchez
2B: Chemistry— Mrs. Paterson
3B: Latin— Mr. Garcia
LUNCH
4B: Computer Information Systems [CIS]— Mrs. Jeffrey
I smiled and went to my first block class, which was Financial Management and I couldn’t wait to learn all of the curricular in that particular class. When I walked into class, no one was there except my teacher. He looked up at me and gave a small smile before looking away but then got up. I chose a desk and then sat down in it while I waited for the bell to ring, not knowing that he was checking me out. After a while, he came over to me and sat down in front of me before looking at me. I looked back at him and gave him a friendly smile before we both shook each other's hands.
"Hi." I said. "I'm Destiny."
"Hello." He replied. "I'm Mr. Sanchez but you can call me Brandon."
"What?" I asked.
"Oh nothing." He said, clearing his throat and walking away from me.
The bell rang and a swarm of kids ran in before they all sat down. After the kids sat down, Mr. Sanchez went to the door and closed it before going back to his desk and picked the paper (that had all of the kids names) up. He started to call the kids names out and then when he reached my name, he looked up at me and smiled at me, which made chills go down my spine.
"Destiny." Mr. Sanchez said.
"Here." I replied.
"Good." Mr. Sanchez said, putting the paper back down after he was finished with roll call. "So today, we are going to be going over the rules and guidelines of this class before we start on any lessons."
Mr. Sanchez got the rules and guidelines papers out and walked around the room before passing it out to all of the students. When he was done, he walked back to his desk and then went over the rules and guidelines of that class. I just sat there and listened to every word he was saying and couldn't help but wonder if he was in love with me or something because he was already creeping me out and I don't think I could deal with that for a whole school year but we'll see what happens.
