Prologue
I am… an average Japanese highschooler,
& Right now, I am in my class,
I wouldn’t have guessed that I would die in some time…
& Never, in my wildest dreams, did I think that I would be reincarnated, and even that, in a fantasy RPG-like world with magic and monsters…
I have died...
Why?

Wait... I can't guess how I am able to remain so calm...
Is this the rumored 'flashback' that comes before death?
I see pictures of my life, but that only lasted about 10 seconds... I almost want to protest that my life wasn't that small. But, did I do so little in my life?

When the flashback ended, I waited patiently, until my consciousness was cut off...
When I woke up, the first thing I felt was my eyes being dazzled.
Light filled my vision, and I narrowed my eyes in discomfort.
Once my eyes adjusted to the brightness, I found a young blonde woman gazing at me.
A beautiful girl...... No, a beautiful woman would be more appropriate.
(“Who is it?“)
Beside her was a man of a similar young age with brown hair, giving me a stiff smile.
A strong and arrogant looking man.
His hair was a pretty brown color, probably because it wasn’t dyed, I guess.

The woman cracked a smile as she watched me and said something.
(“What is she saying?“)
Feeling fuzzy, I could not hear clearly and didn’t understand it at all.
(“Could it be that it’s not Japanese?“)
“@@@@@@@@@@@@” the man replied with a gentle expression. Really, what did he just say? I couldn’t understand it at all.
I tried to sit up and ask them, “Where is this place, and who are you guys?”
I could still do something like this.
“Ah, Ah------”
But I couldn’t tell if what came from my lips was a groan or just heavy breathing.
...Wait... How can...
My body couldn’t move.
I felt sensations in my fingers and wrists, but I couldn’t move my upper body.

In the end, the man carried me up.

Wait, How can a youngster carry me…

I am somewhat frustrated at this outcome, where not only I can’t speak, but I can’t also understand the words of those around me…
Then, suddenly, an inorganic voice resounded in my head

A month passed by.
It looked like I was reincarnated. I finally realized that fact.
I had become a baby.
I confirmed it when I was carried up with my head supported and my own body appeared in my sight.
I didn’t know why I still had my past memories, but there was nothing bad about retaining them.
Retaining memories upon reincarnation-----anyone would have entertained such delusions at least once.
But I didn’t think that such a delusion would become reality......
The first couple I had seen when I opened my eyes seemed to be my parents.
They were probably in the earlier half of their 20s.
Clearly, they were older than me in my past life…
But still… it really made me envious that they had children at that age.
By the way, I became able to understand them after the announcement of the inorganic voice
After that, I started sneakily reading books in the library.
