Headspace

Headspace

Have you ever felt like your stuck

Stuck in a four-cornered room

With no entrances or exits

No way in no way out

Not sure of how your gonna escape

Yet not sure you wanna escape

Stuck in your own personal headspace

Afraid and alone

Yet not afraid of being alone

Loneliness comforts you

Yet frightens you

You’re confused on how you feel

Unsure if it’s all real

You see yourself as

An overly anxious attention seeker

When you don’t receive attention

You feel as if no one loves you

But when you do receive attention

You panic and run

Unsure of what to do

You don’t know what you want

But you don’t care

Because all that matters

Is that your feelings are spared

You get an exception

Because you have Anxiety and Depression

Allowing everyone to fall

Into your pool of deception

Making everyone see it

Only from your perspective

You make people play your twisted game

Almost like taking a fork and scrambling their brain

Slowly driving them insane

But that’s okay

Soon you’ll be back in that space

Alone and afraid, no longer safe

With no one to play your games

Back in your twisted headspace

Sissy: Beautifully written poetry, and so very emotional. I was addicted and couldn't put it down when I started reading. The authors writing is so good. I didn't see any errors, and it flowed. Very creative. Very sad.

The Spoken Word: Words of Life

mariedavismd312: This was Avery spiritual read. The last 2 chapters where very disappointing. That was such a let down unless there is a sequel. Burgess should have been punished for what he did. There was no explanation for his hatred for Jeremiah. I figured he was being set but just had the wrong person. I loved ...

Stella Hart: There were many moments when I almost forgot I was following a story. The characters felt so real that I found myself instinctively judging and criticizing them, as if they were real people. The subject of this story was difficult for me. It’s a story we’ve heard far too many times, and perhaps one t...
