1. What is life?
Once I was sitting in my solitude,
Gazing the stars and pondering,
What life is?
Is it earning the world's exquisite possessions,
Or is it losing in the service of others?
Is it craving for name and fame,
Or is it bedecking in the cap some more feathers?
Is it getting all the beloved's attention
Or is it loving others unconditionally?
Is it being a rebel and revolt,
Or is it making up docilely?
Is it living a life of pride and dignity,
Or is it making others proud on you?
Is it making haste while the sun shine,
Or is it letting it steadily brew?
Is it being selfish and self-centered,
Or is it assisting others selflessly?
Is it debating and proving you are right,
Or is it nodding their views carelessly?
I pondered and pondered
And all that I got...
Is some unanswered questions,
Some more baffled thoughts.
So I settled with a view,
For all my crazy queries.
Life is a mocktail of
Facts, fiction and fairies.
Life could be anything,
you want it to be.
It could be pleasant or gloomy,
It could be a crazy spree.
Life could be ocean of aspirations,
Or fistful of wishful sand.
How you want to elevate it,
Is in your earnest hands.

"Life is a mocktail of facts, fiction and fairies." I love this line. So eloquently put!
