1. Her name is Hela
Loki POV
“Brother, hurry!” Thor yelled, already at the Bifrost.
I forced Ebony to go faster. I made it to the Bifrost before the bridge disappeared! “Now,” Thor said, entering the Bifrost. I followed him, holding the sleeping baby in my arms. Heimdall was standing on the stage with his sword ready.
Thor and I walked in front of the stand where we will leave! “Are you ready, brother?” Thor looked at me. I looked at the child in my arms and sighed. "Yes, brother.” He nods at Heimdall, who puts his sword into the golden stand in front of him and turned it.
Before I knew it, we were soaring through space in colorful lights. I looked down to see the baby still sleeping peacefully. I could feel a tear rolling down my cheek as we landed on top of the Avengers tower. “This way brother,” Thor said opening a door. Following behind him I started to regret what we were doing. But it was for her safety.
We walked into an elevator, "Jarvis, take us to the team." "Yes sir." A robotic voice said to Thor. We started to go down when he looked over at me. I was looking down at the child in my arms. Not even a year old yet. She was cuddled up to my chest and was sucking on her thumb.
"She will be fine Loki, you do not need to worry." He put a hand on my shoulder, I nodded. He took his hand off when the elevator opened to a meeting room where all of the Avengers were seated at a long table and Fury was sitting at the end. "Sit." He said Thor and I sat in the two seats in between Fury and Stark. Thor sat by Tony leaving me to sit by Fury.
He looked at me then at the Avengers, "I believe you all know why we're here?"
He looked at the child in my arms. "I believe it's because Loki is an unfit parent and we need to take care of his child?" Tony said, glaring at me. I stood up being careful not to wake the baby.
"Brother, I see that I am still not welcome here. We may leave now." I looked at Thor who seemed to have ignored me. "Loki, sit." Fury said looking at me. I was telling myself to refuse but I listened anyway.
"Now Thor, would you please tell us why we need to watch Loki's child?" He nodded and stood up, "Asgard is under attack and so many people have died already. I knew that right now it is unsafe to keep a child there so the only place I knew to bring her is here. Loki and I have discussed this many times and we agreed that this is the right decision." "You mean you decided," I muttered.
Fury nodded then looked at me, "How long do you think the war will take?" I looked up at him, "We know not for sure, it could take weeks, months, or even years." He nodded and stood up, "We will watch the child until the war is over, then she will return to Asgard."
I nodded and looked down at her. "You are all dismissed except for Rogers." I looked up and everyone else left. "Now Rogers, Thor told me that he was more comfortable with you watching the child. Can you do it?" I looked over at Thor who was staring at Rogers waiting for an answer. He nodded and stood up, "Yes sir." "Good," Fury looked at me then left the room.
Rogers walked over to me, "What is her name?" "Hela," I replied he nodded and looked at Thor who was waiting by the elevator throwing his hammer up and down.
I looked down at Hela who was now awake and fiddling with her blanket. "I'm always with you," I said kissing her on the head. With my magic I made a necklace appear. It was silver with a green emerald hanging from it. I tucked it into her blanket and handed her to Rogers who carefully held her up.
"I will take good care of her." He assured me. I nodded and went over to Thor who was waiting for the elevator to open. "You better, mortal." The elevator opened with a ding, and we went inside.
"Do not worry brother, Rogers is the best one to take care of her," Thor assured me as the elevator doors opened to the roof. "That is not what I'm worried about brother." He looked at me, "Then what are you worried about?" I sighed, "You are having my daughter stay with the Avengers. And on the one planet that hates me the most" He nodded and lifted his hammer, "Heimdall, take us back." Before I knew it we were flying through space once more.

Steve POV
I looked down at the child. She was chewing on the blanket and staring up at me. Her green eyes shined in the light and I could see her father's looks.
I walked out of the room and into the elevator, "Jarvis, take me to my room." "Yes sir." We stopped on Tony's floor and he walked in, "Jarvis, kitchen." "Yes sir." We started to go up once again. "So you are the one who is supposed to control her?" Tony said, staring at the door. "What do you mean?" I asked turning towards him. He rolled his eyes and turned to face me.
"You know exactly what I mean. Do you know who her father is? Or what he did to New York?" I sighed and looked at her. "Tony, I know but this is a child we're talking about!" He glared at me, Tony has always hated Loki ever since the attack. "Who cares if it is a child? Her father is Loki! She will be just like him just you wait and see." The doors opened and Tony walked out, "Don't say I didn't warn you." The doors shut and we went up again.
When we made it to my floor I walked into my bedroom and looked around, "Where am I going to keep you?" "DING" I turned around and walked into the living room area to see Fury and some agents standing in front of the elevator. The agents seemed to be dragging some boxes into my living room from the elevator, "What is all of this?" Fury turned around and looked at me. "Ah, hello Rogers." He looked at the boxes then back at me, "These boxes contain the things you will need for the child." I looked at him then I looked around, "Where am I going to keep this stuff? I don't have an extra room."
He nodded at an agent who started to dial something into his phone. "I understand that Rogers. That is why I think ahead." Before I could say a word the elevator opened again and more agents came in with tools, carpet, paint, and other working things. They walked over to the window and started to remove most of the glass, "What are you doing?" I asked glaring at Fury.
"I told you I think ahead. We are going to build a room there for her and when she leaves you can use the room for something else." I sighed and nodded. Fury was right, she needs a room while she is here and I have to watch her so it makes more sense for her to have a room on my floor. "The room should be finished in two hours until then you may go ahead and unpack some of the things." With that said he left the room. I laid Hela on the couch and propped her head up on a pillow. She fidgeted a little bit but finally got comfortable and went to sleep.
I opened the first box which was the second biggest, and inside were some boards, screws, a little mattress, wheels, and an instruction manual. I looked at the instructions and I saw that it was supposed to be a crib. "I guess I can start on this." I took my tools out of the closet and started to get to work.
~
"Done!" I exclaimed, I've been working on this crib for a while and I finally finished it. I turned around and saw that the rest of the boxes were opened and empty and the room was finished and the door was closed. I looked at the couch and saw that Hela was playing with a little pink bear. I sighed and walked into the room. It was a small square room with green walls and pink carpet. It was decorated with the colors pink and green. All of the stuff was already in there and put in place. Even her clothes were hanging up in the little closet on the left wall.
I walked into the living room and started to push the crib into her room. I pushed it into the little area left beside the balcony. "Why does a baby need a balcony?" I walked back into the living room and picked Hela up. Her blanket fell off to reveal her green and black Asgardian dress with a golden heim. I held her on my hip as she chewed on the bear's ear. I chuckled as we entered her room and I sat her in the crib. I put in a little green and purple pillow and a soft pink blanket. I also put in some more stuffed animals. I decided to take a shower because with all of those guys in here earlier it got hot and I got sweaty.
~
I walked into the living room and looked at the clock on top of my fireplace, 8:30. It was dinner time. I walked into Hela's room and picked her up out of her crib. She started to cry when she dropped the pink bear on the floor. I bounced her and tried to shush her like I used to see the ladies do in the grocery stores when their babies started to cry. I kept doing the same thing but it didn't work. "Maybe Tasha can help." I walked out of her room and into the elevator. "Where to sir?" Jarvis asked, I almost didn't hear him over Hela crying. "The kitchen please."
~
I entered the kitchen, everyone turned to look at me. I nodded and sat beside Natasha. "Looks like you can't even control her," Tony said glaring at me. I rolled my eyes and turned towards Natasha who was already taking Hela from me. "Awww, what's wrong? Is Steve not listening to you?" Natasha said in a baby voice. She started to bounce Hela up and down which made her giggle. I chuckled and turned towards my plate to eat. There was some fried chicken and mashed potatoes laying on my plate. Once I finished eating, Tony had left with Bruce, probably heading to the lab.
"So what is her name?" Natasha asked looking down at the sleeping baby. I looked at Hela and smiled, "Her name is Hela." "She's so cute!" Natasha exclaimed. "You know what," Clint asked looking at us. "She kind of looks like Loki." I nodded and looked at Nat who was calmly rocking the baby in her arms. I yawned and stood up, "Well I'm gonna get some sleep, see you guys tomorrow." Natasha handed me Hela and I went into the elevator and up to my room.
Once I put Hela to bed, I went into my room and lay on my bed, looking up at the ceiling. I turned to my side and closed my eyes hoping to get some sleep tonight. I didn't feel like going to the gym tonight and I couldn't leave Hela alone.
The whole night, I kept turning, I couldn't sleep. Finally, I decided to go to the gym but bring one of the baby monitors that Fury gave me so could hear her.
When I got to the gym, Natasha was there practicing her combat. Not distracting her, I set up a punching bag and started to beat it. "Couldn't sleep?" She asks as I knock the bag off the chain and start to set up another one. I nodded and started to punch that one too. I heard a buzz and looked at her. She pulled her phone out of her pocket and left, waving bye.
I sighed and started to beat the bag again, when the elevator opened and in came Tony. I rolled my eyes, "Hello Tony." He nodded and sat in a chair and watched me. "If this is about Hela, I don't want to hear it." I told him, knocking the bag off of the chain again.
"Fine but don't come running to me when she gets to acting like her father." He said leaving. I shook my head and set up another bag. "I don't have to worry, do I?" I asked myself, "Nah, she will leave soon anyways."

Hi! I recently came across your story and was genuinely impressed by how vivid and immersive it felt. The world and characters came across so clearly that they naturally sparked a lot of visual ideas while I was reading. I really enjoy creating art inspired by stories that leave a strong impression, and yours definitely stayed with me after I finished. You have a great sense of atmosphere and imagery, and it was a pleasure spending time in the world you created.
