Best Friend

It was raining hard, clouds were thundering badly, silence had spread all over the town. In the graveyard, a girl named Areeba was sitting beside a grave, tears rolling down her cheeks. She was angst about something. She was all fed up, after few minutes, the girl who was laying on terra firma cried in Sotto voce, "I'll take your revenge, Sana".

Sana was Areeba's best friend who was murdered by someone, a week ago. Areeba was wiping off her tears from her pale, red cheeks in memoriam of her friend. She was now no more interested in joie de vivre, but except for revenge!

Lightning flashed with the thundering of clouds, it was raining cats and dogs.

Startled, she heard someone's footsteps. Her whole body shivered.

"Who it could be, at this peak of time?", she thought, "A ghost!", she managed to choke out.

She felt a stab of panic in her chest, she turned around to see who was there.

Her eyes stayed wide open, when she looked back. Breathing hard, she stood frozen, all terrified and scared. She recognized that strange man was holding a knife. That strange man was glaring at her angrily.

"W-who a-a-are you?", she stammered. He grinned. "Think!, young lady, who could I be?, why did I come here with this sharp knife?", Strange man rasped.

"I don't care who you are and why did you come here, I just want to know, what you want from me?", Areeba grumbled.

"I am the one, you had been searching all over, I am your friend's murderer".

"Eureka!", she shouted.

"What?, I didn't understand", he asked.

"The hidden secret has been revealed. I was anxious to find out who was my friend's murderer and I found it, it was your faux pas to come here", she stared at him angrily.

"Let's have a quid pro quo, stranger, I can even smell the stiffness of your death before your soul leaves the body", her smile broaded.

The stranger leaned forward and pushed her hard, she landed on her back. Areeba moaned.

" I'll kill you too! just like your friend, I knew you would come here...after killing you, I will take out your kidneys", he mumbled" Be loud and clear, I know you will not kill me for kidneys, it's something else, something I am eager to know for what?", she shouted while standing and brushing dirt off her clothes.

"Hm, good mind, I am not here for your kidneys but someone ordered me to kill you", he muttered.

" Who- who told you to come here?", she asked.

"His name is Sornome, he wants you to be dead just like your friend for some reason and I don't know what's the reason, he paid me $25,000, well....any last wish?"

Areeba shove out a revolver from her pocket and shot him. That strange man lay flat and didn't move again.

"It's a riddle like, there must be a reason, a horrible truth behind all this", she murmured.

Sunlight flashed through the graveyard, rain had stopped. Had to do a lot if work now. "It's a mystery, I am confused, how can I find that Sornome, what's the story behind it", she thought while walking....
