Summary

{Tripping over, I fall to the ground. Wow, I sound like those little preppy girls right now. What's next, my 'soulmate' will come out and help me. We look eyes and it will be happily ever after. Yeah, I think not. Well, at least nothing can get worse. Picking up my things as quickly as possible, I look up with a sassy remark read in hand, but get lost in those eyes. The eyes that have haunted me for eight years. That have given me nightmares ever since the accident. Oh great. Coming back to reality, I realize I am meant to say something. "Sorry, Alpha Liam. it won't happen again." Alpha Liam looks at me with a shocked face. Huh, He must have never met a human who knows werewolves are inexistent. Wow, "Liam." his voice cuts me out of my thoughts. That ruff voice, that can annoy you to death. "Pardon me?" I asked trying to be polite, even though I just want to kill him with the gun that's in my school bag. The same one, that is digging a hole to get out} Sophia Crimstone. A name that has been forgotten. A person with no existence. Just how she likes it. She's a sassy, rude, gorgeous girl who has a lot to say if you make her angry enough. But she does also come with a horrific past that can make any grown man tremble. She doesn't like people telling her what to do. And she most definitely hates one ignorant, cocky bastard of an Alpha. Alpha Liam of the Cypress Pack.

Capitulum I\Hic Venio Canino.

New year. New school. New me.

The routine gets tiring after a while, but that's just how life is I guess. The same little town. The same type of high school. The same type of people, and sadly, that's the hell hole I'm heading to now.

Normally people take two weeks to settle in at a new town. A month if necessary. I couldn't do it. The silence in the house was defeating. It was getting lonely, so I needed a distraction and what better distraction than a stereotypical public high school.

So that's currently where I am. On the back of my Honda Goldwing. She's a true beauty that I stole from a guy a while back. He won't miss it.....maybe. Anyway, I make better use of it. Traveling around the country is how she should be treated, not looked up in a cell that only the best viewers can pay to see.

It was not pretty.

And neither is the sight in front of me. Driving through the gates of hell, do little to simmer my joy of riding. It's not till I see the cliched groups of people in front of me. It's like my soul was being shredded to pieces in a never-ending blender. A neuter bullet is what people call it. And it stings like Thanos himself.

Shouldn't I be used to this by now? Yes. Doesn't mean I'll have to like it. Especially not on a daily basis.

The first row of cars directly in front of the school belongs to the popular social norm group. With the messy parking and those types of cars, it's a clear sign. Driving around in cars that their daddy paid for, not giving two fucks about how they criss-cross parking spaces. And the group in the center wearing their soccer jerseys.

Yes, I admit soccer isn't normally the 'popular' sport, but every school has that one sport that you just think, "Really!". Next to them, are a Mercedes-Benz and a Telsa model. Definitely belongs to the chick whos making out on top of it. Only because it's pink, with sparkles.

Like seriously, were 18 this year. Who has a pink car with sparkles???

Then it unwraps all around them. You can easily identify which groups are at this school. With the skaters, messing around at the walkway ramps. The druggos, taking a siggy at the corner. The nerds at a table on their laptops talking a mile a minute. The fine arts students are around the side taking pictures or holding paintings. The dancers carrying their bags wearing the same blue jackets. The anime group. The loners. The racial/ethnic groups. You get my point.

Driving silently around the bend of the road into the car park, I can already feel unnecessary eyes skimming all over me. Trying to pick-pocket, who I am, and who's cliche group I'll join. The nonsense chatter swells, as I get off the bike, flipping my hair to the other shoulder so I can see clearly.

It's not till I grab my bookbag and turn around, that I see everyone has stopped and looked my way. How typical. And, I think you can already picture what looks I'm receiving right now. The obvious lingering glances of the shy guys. Then there are the guys that have no care in the world and make it obvious they're staring. And, the chicks. Look at me with interest or loathing. Like my being here has messed up their whole life plan.

What a pity.

Breathe in. Breath out. 'You've done this before Sophia. It shouldn't be that hard'. Tell that to my anxiety. Casually I walk inside the school looking for the office. Or, I hope it looked casual not rushed.

I had a plan this year. Fly under the radar and don't get detected. I need to stay as long as I can, or I fear if I was to leave, I'd have to repeat yr12. And I am not doing that again.

............................................

I'm restarting this book. Hopefully, now it sounds better. This first chapter starts short, but the next ones will be longer. <3
