"Big fan of taboos like stranger in the rain or finding love outside a relationship(must like this to read as it's central to the plot) so I enjoyed what I read, but it just felt like there should have been more... Everything. Let's start with spice. If you mark a book erotica, there should be SPICE. Long chapters of spice. The spice is brief here and not very detailed. You don't get a chance to get sucked into the naughtiness of an affair as a result. Then there's Esme staying with Brent. I don't understand why. Practically speaking there's nothing tying them together... Not even love really. Not judging I just don't get it. Is it money? If it were a child or a marriage I would get that. Her reason for staying with him is flimsy. If she's afraid of him or he is abusive I don't see that either. A lot of emotion here and it really is a cool read, but you're rushing... Details. We need details. The devil is in the details. It has a lot of potential but it needs depth. "
