Chapter 1

The pavement was cold on the bottom of my feet while I ran trying to catch up to the wolf pack but I just couldn't catch up. I finally sat down and trued to slow my breathing I knew we were in the thick part of the forest but it was to dark and everything in my vision was blurry...... I was dehydrated. One of the wolves saw me and went to go get the pack I have to go back to mother soon I thought lookng at my watch. The moon wasn't out and the stars didn't show.... Pitch black. I got up looked around trued to walk but I was dehydrated still vision blurry. I sat back down. I heard howling in the distance the alfa wouldn't be to happy with me that he would have to look for me I tryed to yell as loud as I could and I heard foot steps so I stopped grabbed my blade from my thigh, that was always there, from its holster ready to use at any time. I gripped it tight.

"Whoa!!! Calm down... " It was my mother she was the one to teach me to be an assassin she said I was always cappable of more.

"Holy shit Mom I almost killed you yell its you or something!"

"Watch the language little girl wheres the wolves?" She gave me a dirty look and went on, "did you loose them again quit trying to out run them. Fuck Eliza your not one!"

I put my blade on my holster and looked at her and walked away towards the wolves they we're the only family I had left other than mother but she was always busy and we both lived on the streets.

"Oh come back, Eliza! I found a place to sleep tonight I was getting worried abo..... " I took off running the wind passing my ears leaving them cold by the fall weather leaves crumpled under my feet I stopped when I seen the wolf pack the alfa looked at me funny. I sat down on the ground on a pile of leaves petting the pups as they ran past and growled and barked at each other. I fell asleep right there and I didn't dream a long peaceful sleep one you never want to wake up from.
