Chapter 1
" Do you have the girl yet?"
"No Alpha, but we do have eyes on her."
" Good good. Make sure you bring her to me as soon as possible! Understand?"
"Yes Alpha, understood."
Scylla POV
"Scylla its time to wake up Hun." I groaned as I opened my eyes to see my mother." It's finally your 17th birthday!" She exclaimed. " I know I know." I knew what she was going to say. " Since your finally 17 that means you finally are able to start searching for a mate!" She and I said except Mother did it with an excited voice rather than like me with a monotone one. She sighed." I know you don't care about it but what does Athena think. She is probably super excited about it!"Mother said it in a slight worry tone.
'Scylla come on just be happy! I mean once we find our mate you'l be super happy as well as me!'
'Athena we talked about this!'
'I know I know.' My wolf said that in a sad tone as she blocked me out.
I get up from my bed as soon as my Mother goes out. I get dressed and get ready to go down stairs. As I'm walking down my Older siblings ran over and started talking about that their 17th birthday was amazing and how I am going to "love" mine. I highly doubt it though.
After they were done talking I went over to the table and sat down."We're having your favorite! Strawberry pancakes, bacon and eggs!" She said to me with pure happiness. I just smiled.
I went for a run to calm before the rest of the pack remember its my birthday. My family's occasions are "important" and are known through out the pack. And whys that? Because we are the lead pack. My Father Alpha and my Mother Luna. My eldest sister Alex is appointed the next alpha of this pack when she turns 25. usually the appointed one gets to be alpha when they turn 18 but my pack is a bit different than the rest.
After I got back from my run I was greeted by what it seem to be the whole pack. Great. They all start singing happy birthday and other shit like that. It was a mess. Some people falling behind, some to quick, some not even sounding enthusiastic.
'Oh well'
'So you finally unblocked me Athena?'
'You knew I would give in!' She pouted
'Oh well!' Mocking her.
"The Alpha king and his sons are coming to sign something important. So please dress nicely!" She begged until I gave in. I went up to my room to get money for buying "Proper clothing". I grabbed my car keys and set on to the Market Place.
I got there, parked, and walking into a formal store. And saw nothing I liked. I indeed up walking into another clothing store and picked out button up white shirt, Black tie, and skinny jeans. My Mother is going to kill me when she sees what I bought. Oh well.
I got there and instantly saw my Mother running to see what I bought. She grabbed for it but I pulled it away. " Your not aloud to see what I bought until its time for the meeting!" I said sternly. Mother tried begging with puppy eyes, lets just say it didn't work.
