First day at the new town

The train whistle signal's the arrival of the train at the station. Ayesha gets off the train with all her belongings. Mrs Dsuza came to pick her up.

Ayesha POV

"Thank you Mrs Dsuza. For coming to pick me up."

"What? Thank you beta? ( beta means calling son/child affectionately) . You are new to this town. Of course, I would come to pick you up. After all, you will be staying at my house as my paying guest. I could do at least this much for you. But I must say for a girl who stayed abroad your clothing is very traditional "

"Thank you, Aunty . " if only you knew the things I did you would not be saying such things. Let it be Ayesha you came here for a new fresh start. There's no need to bring up your past.

" Aunty the roads of this city is very pretty. " with twists and turns and so much greenery. It's a beautiful sight.

" This is nothing . I'll take you to the best spot to enjoy this scenery ".

"Where? "

"Lover's Point "

It was quiet on the way to their destination maybe because it was at dawn she had arrived at this town. The road to lover's point felt like she was going through hills tracks. Quite a few people were working even so early in the morning some were busy with their tea stall, and vegetable vendor, some were walking, and others were jogging and exercising. Mostly they were elderly people.

Our car came to a stop at the top of the high road. The road had a boundary wall of 4 feet to prevent accidents. But the wall was decorated with flower pots. It looked amazing.

"So, beta? What do you think about this place? "

" what's there to think? It's absolutely lovely? I think I am in love! "

"Beta you should say that to your lover, not to the lover's point of view."

Suddenly, the wind picks up and my hair gets blown by the wind along with my pink dupatta. I was wearing a 3 piece dress. I nearly managed to catch my dupatta.

"Let's go."

While we were leaving I decided to look at the view once more. Suddenly a bicycle rode past me. I almost got hit. I turned around to see who it was but he was long gone. He had earphones on so he wouldn't have heard me either way.

On the way to the house, we had to stop at because

We left there and finally arrived at the I will be staying for the next two years. It was a small house with lots of flowers and a front yard and lots of open space. The windows were also decorated with flowers.

"It's beautiful Mrs Dsuza."

"Thank you. Beta. My late husband and I made this our home 35 years ago. Although we never had any children we were very happy with each other. But staying alone gets lonely sometimes so I decided to have to pay guests to make the house a bit more lively. Beta, this house has four bedrooms. The master bedroom is mine at the back of the house. The bedroom on the right side is yours and the bedroom on the left side is tina's and the smallest bedroom is used as a guestroom. Tina is my other tenant. She is asleep now you can meet her when she wakes up. Ok. "

"Ok. Thank you,u Aunty. I'll go and start unpacking my things "
